Having moved home earlier this year, I commissioned the London Alcove Company to install a bespoke bookcase and work station in one of the bedrooms. They demonstrated a high level of professionalism throughout, with particular attention to designing the desk so it folded down towards the wall, as my preference was to enable the office to double up as a guest bedroom as well. I was shown a wide range of colours with which to paint the chest of drawers and the bookcase, and happily found one colour which matched exactly the existing wall colour, so I was saved a paint and decorate job as well! It makes a wonderful change from having to work at the kitchen table, I have to be honest! Many thanks to Cameron and his team, I will always recommend your services with great enthusiasm.

I could not recommend The London Alcove Company more. Cameron took the time to visit and discuss our window seat design in great detail before we had to commit. Other companies required huge deposits before designing and providing a final quote. The quality is fantastic and the fitters were very professional. We will be using Cameron and his team again.

The London Alcove Company designed and installed custom shelves to make use of a dead space behind a door in my study. Their attention to detail was excellent and they were happy to accomodate my changes and bold colour requests - colour matching the exact Moroccan Velvet 3 shade I had my heart set on, and then returning to apply a extra layer of clear varnish to ensure this high pigment colour stood up to the heavy usage of working shelves. Cameron and his team are professional, knowledgable and provide great customer service. Would highly recommend for any bespoke work.

I asked London Alcove to design and install home office fitted furniture. Cameron took care to understand what I wanted and in designing to that brief he produced drawings I could understand, explained my options, was patient with my frequent indecision and gave me a clear quote. His team did a very good job to schedule and cost . They were very respectful of their surroundings and cleaned up thoroughly each day and at the end of the job. I am very pleased with the finished work. The quality and appearance is even above expectations.

The London Alcove Company created beautiful library shelving, fitted wardrobes and window seating for us in two period properties. From start to finish, they were extremely professional and we have no hesitation in giving them the highest recommendation. They took great care to listen carefully to our specifications and to create units in keeping with the age and style of our properties. The finish was of the highest standard. All of the craftsmen involved in the projects were highly skilled. They were also very pleasant and easy to have around the house. They worked cleanly and tidied up afterwards, leaving absolutely no sign that they had been there - apart from their magnificent work. The purchaser of our first property told us that the beautiful library was a major factor in her decision to buy.

The Alcove company made an excellent job for us, we are very happy with our brand new built in alcove wardrobe. It was a rather tricky task to do a tall and wide one with bi-folding doors and j-groove and they have done great! The design they came up with works very well for our room. Excellent materials (definitely value for money) and we didnt have to wait long before installation, just about a month or so. Highly recommend!

We had taken advantage of this expert team before, so were not surprised having moved house that their work would again be top-rate. Their planning stage sets the standard, with several drafts of the design being exchanged prior to the final version. Although this took time, it allowed us to re-think our requirements, making the final product really fit for purpose. Installation was done with great skill and attention to detail, accommodating the imperfections and irregularities of our mid-Victorian property. The finish, in our case painting, was likewise completed in a most professional manner. Hence, full marks!

I have used The London Alcove Company twice, once many years ago to build shelves and low-level cupboards, and recently to design and build an alcove wardrobe to my specifications. On both occasions they have been brilliant - Cameron and his team all turned up when they said they would, communicate well and are unfailingly polite and helpful. The team took care to look after the rest of the room while working (I had just had floor sanded and decorating done, and they installed the wardrobe without doing any damage) and the end result is fabulous. Thoroughly recommend them.

London Alcove Company made several bespoke shelving and cupboard units for our offices and, from the start, Cameron and his team were great to work with. Good communication, very professional, and pleasant to work with. The building is Georgian and listed so it was important the units look the part as well as be functional; the work completed is of a very high standard and we are extremely pleased with the results. We had some snagging issues after the installation but the team were very patient and continued on with it until it was exactly as required. I would definitely use London Alcove Company again, and would recommend them to others.

I had previously used LAC for an alcove and had been very pleased with the cost and quality of the project so asked them back to design and install a large shelving and TV unit for my children's playroom. As previously everything was very straight forward, Cameron the owner measured up and then produced a design that I was able to make a few tweaks to, a few weeks later the unit was installed over the course of two days. His workforce are efficient, very polite and friendly, keep the place very clean and tidy up after themselves and most importantly their work is excellent. Would highly recommend - also don't be put off by the name, they do a lot more than alcoves!

The LAC supplied us with two lots of fitted wardrobes and two book cases. The quality of the end product they produced was exceptional and all of the workers on quotation, design and installation gave a great service. You could certainly use cheaper companies, but you would struggle to get much better quality.

These guys are great. Cameron listens very well, is very creative and positive and absolutely reliable. They did everything they said they would do and they did it on time and to a very high standard. The guys who did the fitting were all excellent: considerate, tidy and accommodating. I'm not an easy customer but they truly delivered. Not cheap but most definitely worth it.

London Alcove have built us lots of shelves and cupboards over the past 7 or 8 years - both in our old house and now over the past two years in our new house as we slowly renovate room by room. The quality and workmanship is of a really high standard and every single person we have encountered has been friendly, respectful, helpful, and tidy. The best thing about Cameron and his team is that they genuinely care about what they are doing, and they are proud of what they do. This dedication to making their customers happy is what makes the difference. They are not the cheapest you could find, but we go back to them time and time again - in the end you get what you pay for. What we have had over the years from London Alcove is well worth what we have paid, and the qualify speaks for itself. We will definitely be using them again.

Cameron's team at London Alcove fitted built-in cupboards either side of the chimney breast in our living room. Not only were they a delight to work with, but the units have transformed the room. They gave me excellent guidance as to what sort of colour and style would work best (the opposite of what I had in mind), and the job was finished to a high standard with impressive attention to detail. If they noticed something wasn't quite right, that I couldn't even see, they took it back to the workshop and replaced it. Although this added a couple of weeks to the project it was no inconvenience and I knew it meant I was getting the best product. There were no hidden expenses and the team were very reliable, pleasant and never left a mess. I would use them again without a doubt.
