About Us

i design and make things...... generally, unique, one-off pieces of furniture..... anything from garden gates to dining tables, bookcases to beds, wardrobes to benches. i work principally to commission and there are two lines to my work: firstly, my somewhat idiosyncratic pieces in native english hardwoods and, secondly, a more functional line in birch ply. everything i make is the result of a design collaboration between myself and the customer which will then be made with my own fair hands to a high standard of functionality and durability. my aim is to make pieces that are functional and beautiful at the same time and will also last a lifetime...... so please involve your kids as they will probably end up getting it in a few years time!

Typical Job Cost £500 - £10,000
cost is dependent on the time it takes to make a piece and the cost of the materials. i work in both english hardwoods and birch ply, with the latter generally proving a more budget option as it is generally much quicker in terms of labour.
