Terrible, Lazy, Incompetent Arrived 90 minutes late, then did the job as fast as he could. Of the 3 pieces of skirting board he fitted, one is over a centimetre higher than the other two. When he'd left, I noticed that the door handles he'd fitted weren't screwed to the doors very tightly, so I tightened the screws to find that the handles no longer turned properly - he should have cut out a bit behind each handle to accommodate the mechanism, but apparently couldn't be bothered - so he just loosened the screws! One door needed the old spindle/latch hole filling - he told me he'd nailed a block of wood in, then put filler over it. A few days later (when installing the handle properly myself) I realised he had lied about this. He'd just smeared some filler in the hole, and also smeared a load all over my new door handles! When installing the latch keep in a door frame, instead of cutting it out from the front (as a sane person would do), he went in from the side, and chopped through the entire width of that side of the door frame. The damage is irrepairable without replacing the door frame. I've had to spend days filling and sanding to try to get something that doesn't look like a dog's dinner.
