“We hired Dan to renovate a 2B/2B co-op apartment in NYC. The building is mid-century, and had not been done in over 30 years. The project was not especially complex, but there were rules imposed by management of the building that made it tricky. All materials had to come through a service elevator and we had a finite number of days to complete the project; we actually could have only 6 'noise days.' If we ran over the schedule, we would have been fined. Dan made the deadline and got big kudos from the building. And the work was beautiful. Dan and his designer planned a full kitchen and bar, removed a wall and installed French doors, re-did closets and storage....it was all we expected and more! Our building has a complex HVAC system and all heating ducts had to be covered and the common hallway prepped every night. Dan was spotless. He and his workers were friendly, helpful, and timely.
