Home Republic Ltd

We couldn’t recommend Home Republic highly enough. They were responsible for both the design and build of our family home in Chiswick, which involved a huge renovation, and from the very beginning right through to completion, they were absolutely fantastic. One of the things that stood out most was how smoothly Home Republic managed the entire process. From the initial design through to the build and finishing touches, we always felt that we were in safe hands. They were professional, organised and incredibly efficient, while still being approachable and genuinely invested in creating the home we wanted. A particular highlight was the communication throughout the project. Andrii, our site manager, was absolutely fantastic. He was incredibly responsive, always approachable and kept us informed every step of the way. There was also complete transparency around the budget, which gave us a huge amount of confidence throughout the build. The quality of the workmanship and the standard of the finished product were equally impressive. Everything has been delivered to a really high specification, with a clear focus on quality and attention to detail. The suppliers and tradespeople recommended by Home Republic were also excellent, and having that trusted network made such a difference to the overall experience. We felt that everyone involved shared the same high standards and took real pride in their work. Another thing that really impressed us was the way the team managed the relationship with our neighbours. They were considerate and respectful throughout what was inevitably a disruptive project, and they built a genuinely good rapport with them. Even after we moved in, we’ve had a number of compliments from our neighbours about how great the Home Republic team were, which we think speaks volumes about the way they conducted themselves throughout the build. And then, of course, there is the most important part: we absolutely love our home. The finished house is everything we hoped it would be. The specification, design, finishes and attention to detail are all exactly what we wanted, and it genuinely feels like the home we set out to create. We’re incredibly happy with the end result and would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Home Republic. If you’re considering a renovation or a major building project, we would wholeheartedly recommend them.

We have worked with Home Republic for a number of years on major home renovations across London. Led by Alex Strikovs, this company is amongst the most professional, talented, courteous and creative contractor we have had the pleasure working with. In our capacity as project manager, working with Home Republic's build team is fantastic. The project managers think ahead, deal with challenges creatively and intelligently, and the collaboration between us has been a joy. In addition, the quality of the work is exceptional, and the breadth and depth of the team generally means that they have a solution for pretty much any design challenge. We would highly recommend this very capable firm for a build project, and we look forward to working together with them over the coming years.

We would highly recommend Home Republic. Their focus on the client was clear from the start, with a genuine emphasis on customer service. They were consistently responsive, attentive, and willing to put in the hard work needed to keep things moving. As the project progressed, they showed real flexibility — adapting to changes, offering their own ideas on how to improve aspects of the build, and responding well whenever challenges arose. They also worked effectively with the other firms we brought in, helping to overcome issues collaboratively rather than defensively. We found the team professional across the board, and interactions were positive. A particular mention goes to the Site Manager, Naz, who was a pleasure to work with: calm, constructive, and solution focused. Their cost structure was clear and competitive, which added to the overall confidence we had in the process. Overall, Home Republic were reliable, client focused, and easy to work with, and we were very happy with the experience.

I’ve really enjoyed working with Home Republic. As an architect, I’ve found their admin and accounts systems very organised and transparent, which makes the whole process much easier. They have an excellent range of skilled professionals they can call on, and both the site manager and project manager were highly experienced, professional and attentive throughout. The general standard of workmanship is very high, communication is good, and overall they’ve been very easy to work with.

I worked with Home Republic last year on a large extension and renovation project as the interior designer. The team were a pleasure to work with, very responsive to any queries or issues and their work was finished to a very high standard. I would definitely recommend their services.

Home Republic Ltd did a fantastic job renovating our house. They were dedicated, hard working and committed to delivering the highest standard possible. We really appreciated their attention to detail and craftmanship. They were curteous, punctual and communicated well. The site was kept tidy at all times - they were always very accommodating and helpful!

We had a full home renovation completed by Home republic, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. The team gutted the entire house and carried out extensive structural work, including a side return and loft extension. They completely remodelled the interior layout, re-levelled floors and ceilings, replumbed and rewired the whole property, landscaped the garden, and handled all interior décor and fixture fittings to a very high standard. The on-site team were consistently helpful, efficient, and professional. Communication was excellent throughout - we were always kept informed and they worked seamlessly with our project manager, which made the whole process far less stressful than we expected. After the project the team were very efficient in coming back for any snags and more than happy to help out with things that were even beyond their remit. A special mention goes to Andrii and Pavel, who were exceptional. Both were highly professional, proactive, and solution-focused. No problem was ever too big, and they always approached challenges with a positive attitude and practical ideas. Also Alex was in regular contact with us and ensured that everything was up to standard and that all of our expectations were met. We’re absolutely delighted with the results and would highly recommend them to anyone undertaking a project.

We used Home Republic for a rear extension and a full renovation of our downstairs, and we couldn't be happier with the results. From the very beginning Andrii the project manager was professional, organised, and transparent about costs and timelines. Vitalli, Volodmir and Vasiliy were the main guys who worked extremely hard, paid great attention to detail,. Andrii kept us informed at every stage of the project. The quality of workmanship throughout the extension and renovation is excellent, and they took real pride in their work. Despite the scale of the project, everything was completed smoothly and to a very high standard. They were respectful of our home, kept the site tidy, and addressed any questions or changes promptly. We would highly recommend Home Republic to anyone considering an extension or major renovation-- reliable, skilled, and a pleasure to work with. Thank you Andrii Hashchyan, Vitalii Pryimak,Volodimir Shevchenko & Vasiliy Zupnik for your amazing and hard work on the house.

We had recently moved and wanted to renovate the whole house including rear extension and some internal works. After doing a lot of research, Home Republic immediately stood out, and their awards and accreditations were a good indicator for the high standards they uphold. From start to finish, Alex S and the team were absolutely fantastic. Our project manager, Alex F, deserves a particularly mention, he was professional, approachable, and genuinely invested in achieving the best possible result. He was fantastic. Throughout the build, the team demonstrated exceptional workmanship, attention to detail, and a proactive, responsive approach. As with any build, there were plenty of decisions to make along the way and challenges to overcome, but working with this team made the entire process as pleasurable as it can be! Their dedication and care for the end result were evident at every stage. They were always available to support us and kept the site fully staffed every single day of the project. They delivered on time and to budget which was very impressive and they were very flexible with our requirements. For example, we decided to live in during the project which is always trickier for everyone but Alex and team were very receptive and considerate through out. We couldn’t be happier with our home and would wholeheartedly recommend Home Republic to anyone looking for a professional, skilled, and trustworthy building firm. Thank you Alex F, Alex S and everyone at the brilliant Home Republic team.

Home Republic undertook renovation works at my house including replacement bathrooms, shower room, WC, utility room, and other refurbishment works including the mechanical and electrical installations. They were excellent from start to finish, on time, on budget and a pleasure to deal with. They have also undertaken substantial building works for two of my neighbours who were also very happy with them. I would highly recommend them for all building works.

This was our first renovation, and as such, we were a tad nervous after hearing about all the mishaps that can occur with design, builders, and supplies, etc. Both my wife and I cannot praise the Home Republic team enough for their consideration, professionalism, and quality of work, which they delivered on schedule and on budget. We cannot speak more highly of the team, and, to be frank, several builders visited the property and commented positively on the work being performed. We wish to thank Igor, Ivan, and the team for their patience and caring nature, which ensured the delivery of our project. Please feel free to contact me if you wish to discuss further.

We had a great experience with HR. Vardan and the team delivered an amazing 2 story extension to our home in SW London. As with every build, there were teething issues, the team strived to fix them each and every time. I was also really impressed with the policy of returning after 3 months to fix any snags. Job Well Done!

Alex and the team have done such a fantastic job with our new home. Everything was made very easy throughout the whole process from initial discussions all the way through to completion and their experienced suggestions help enormously along the way! I would recommend them to anyone looking to undertake a project and it’s clear why they have so many awards to their name! Thank you!

From the first meeting we knew we wanted to work with Home Republic, Alex was really helpful in the initial meeting providing accurate costs and a lot of guidance. Home republic sensitively renovated our semi detached, 4 storey victorian house that required all new heating & electrical systems along with restoring period features and providing a high quality finish throughout. We needed to get going quickly as we had recently completed on the property and the team were mobilised within a couple of weeks, Vitalii on site was a brilliant project manager always quick to respond, meticulous and very patient! We would highly recommend all the hard working team!

Alex and his team delivered a high quality service. Excellent workmanship and incredibly polite workmen, who were always courteous and polite.

Absolute magicians. Completed our detached home full refurb with incredible pace and aplomb. Only builders we interviewed who brought new ideas on how to improve project outcome (cost, sustainability, appearance) from the outset, and continued with this approach throughout. Our foreman was Andrii who was a joy to work with!

Home Republic Limited recently completed a full renovation of my central London flat, and I am absolutely delighted with the results. The quality of their bespoke furniture and kitchen is outstanding, and the entire project was finished on time and strictly within budget, which was a huge relief. What truly impressed me was the seamless communication and professional management throughout the entire process. Alex, the Managing Director, was incredibly helpful and informative, ensuring I was comfortable with every decision. Max, the Project Manager, was a pleasure to work with, keeping everything running smoothly and efficiently. The entire team, including the contractors and subcontractors, were friendly, skilled, and respectful. My flat is now a luxurious and functional space that truly feels like home. I highly recommend Home Republic Limited to anyone seeking a high-quality renovation experience. They exceeded my expectations in every way!

To say our project wasn't the most straightforward would be an understatement. Contending with a difficult planning process, unexpected issues from refurbishing a pre-exisitng structure and a plethora of subcontractors over the course of 12 months would have been nigh on impossible without the team from Home Republic on our side. They were with us every step of the way from the tender process right through to completion and always on hand to offer advice over and above their remit of just completing the build. The house was finished to a top quality standard and my family and I are very happy to finally be living in our dream home which we are sure we will be very happy in for many years to come. Thanks to Alex, Armen, Alex, and the rest of the team for a job well done. We know it was hard but we all got there in the end!

Home Republic have recently completed a fantastic loft conversion in our house which gave us two new spacious bedrooms and a separate bathroom. Alex and the team worked wonders with the whole project from design to build and fit out. Our Project Manager Andrii expertly orchestrated the team of architects, builders, carpenters, electricians, plumbers and decorators so the work moved swiftly on and they were so professional, tidy and considerate throughout that we could continue living in the property with no problems. Everything was completed to budget and any changes or new ideas were discussed, agreed and clearly itemised. Communication was excellent and the group chat worked well to quickly sort out any questions, 'no problem, we will sort it' was the favourite phrase. Our friends and family are amazed at our positive building experience and impressed with the high quality result. Our children are happy with larger bedrooms and we now have dedicated home offices to work in. Home Republic come highly recommended from us.

Brilliant job from Alex and his team! Extremely diligent and hard working. Exceptional communication with clear job description and breakdown of costing so we always knew where to we stood and the scope of our project! Highly recommend Home Republic Ltd to friends and family!

I had the pleasure of working with Home Republic on a major renovation project for my home, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the results. From start to finish, the process was professional and executed with attention to detail. The team demonstrated an impressive level of expertise, ensuring that every aspect of the project aligned with my vision. They kept me informed at every stage, addressing my concerns promptly and providing thoughtful solutions whenever challenges arose. I was particularly satisfied by their ability to blend modern updates with the character of the original structure, preserving the charm of the home while adding a fresh, updated feel. Beyond the quality of work, the team was respectful and punctual and maintained a clean work environment throughout the project. It’s clear they take genuine care about delivering the best for their clients.

We had a loft conversion, air conditioning and upgrades to existing home. Home Republic did a great job. The whole team were very professional and capable, on time and on budget. Eugene project managed everything onsite and was tremendous to work with, calm, with a positive approach, solving problems effectively, and with a great sense of humour. We would highly recommend Home Republic and will be back to them with other projects!

We have engaged Home Republic for a flat renovation project in Marylebone (100-150k budget) in March 2023, thanks to a recommendation from a friend. Both Alex and Max as managers of the company were engaged from the beginning to make sure the project was planned based on our needs and budget. Overall very professional in terms of quotation preparation and review pre-signature of contracts, contrarily to many other independent builders we had engaged around the same time for the same piece of work that were much more disorganized or much more expensive. This gave us peace of mind in terms of budgeting, as most work would be accounted for in advance, limiting the number of “surprises”. During the project, we had regular touchpoints to verify quality and progress, making adjustments along the way. The team proposed smart solutions and variations were priced within reason. Max was always available to discuss outstanding items and rectify snags if the outcome was not satisfactory. The project was completed successfully in November and all minor snags resolved or planned for. I will definitely recommend this company for other similar projects.

Alex, Victor and their team did an amazing job on our single story extension. Whilst our project was probably one of their smaller jobs and we had a very strict budget, they were both meticulous in ensuring the work was completed to the highest standard, on time and within the quoted budget. Communication between all parties was brilliant and we were notified of any changes / delays in advance. We were living on site at the time, all the builders were respectful and friendly and left the site as tidy as possible daily. We are very happy with their work and we would not hesitate in recommending them for your project.

Our Quantity Surveyor suggested Home Republic tender for our home renovation and extension project as we were new to surrey and didn't know anyone locally. We are so glad he did! Andrii acted as site foreman and Alex would join us for the monthly meetings. The team generally though were always so polite and a pleasure to have on site. The work was really well carried out and they were always helpful in their problem solving approach. As with all project things go wrong but HR always acknowledged and were ever defensive, they always made good and even better than we could have expected. It is really hard working for a client (especially one that changes their mind and adds things during a build - sounds like most of us!) and they were always honest and tried their best to accommodate anything we asked. We would gladly work with them again and thank them and their team for everything they have done and continue to do (just finishing snagging). Any advice for anyone reading is that irrespective of the good nature of HR, this is our home and we were emotionally engaged so it was crucial for us to have someone in between us (in this case David Reynolds of Drake and Reynolds) so that we could be objective when getting to caught up in detail or not being realistic! I think this also helped HR react faster and work better as they could also without fear of upsetting relay information to David to help move the project along and keep it one time and budget. Thank you again to all. Full photos to follow once we are finally moved in. :-)

We contracted Home Republic to build a single storey extension and renovate 2 bathrooms. We cannot praise HR enough. From start to finish they and all their craftsmen conducted themselves with honesty, integrity and professionalism. Not to mention the quality of their work, which is no less than outstanding. As soon as I met Alex, I knew that I could work well with him. Our site manager Armen, made the whole build process easy, seamless and stress-free. Armen was organized, methodical and budget conscious throughout. He was on site daily and available to contact at all times thus alleviating any concerns and dealing with issues immediately. Armen’s hard work and experience was pivotal in the success of our build. As we were still living on site, every effort was made to respect our privacy and keep any inconveniences to a minimum. All the craftsmen on site were absolutely lovely and were a pleasure to have. We are now planning further work and undoubtedly, we will be calling on Home Republic to carry out the next phase. We would like to thank Alex, Armen, Max, Gleb, Igor, Ivan, Pavlo, Val, Roma, Andrew, Vlad and last but not least lovey Leonidas! If it wasn’t for the Home Republic team, we wouldn’t be living in our dream home today!

We worked with Home Republic for our full house renovation, and we were very happy with their professionalism, reliability and ability to meet deadlines. Throughout the project, we had weekly meetings where they kept us updated on progress. Their clear communication and transparency throughout the process provided us with peace of mind and confidence in their abilities. We want to highlight their problem-solving skills and the fact they are hard workers. Their expertise and commitment to customer satisfaction set them apart in the industry, and we are confident that they will exceed your expectations as they did ours.

Alex, Max and Andrii and the HR team completed a full renovation on our house. They were exceptional throughout the process from setting expectations upon first meeting and providing a quote and then completing the work. The whole team is knowledgeable, experienced and always giving of their best. We saw a great camaderie and team spirit throughout the process. Everyone on site took a lot of pride in what they were doing, craftsmen whether laying bricks or advising on complex aspects of the build. Alex and his senior team were always very responsive to queries and texts and we felt that we were in safe hands throughout. We want to thank and recognise Andrii who was our project manager. He went above and beyond to build us a home that we love. Andrii always took the time to think through detailed aspects of the sometimes complex build and requirements that we had. Always with a smile and patience and thought and attention. He has a great eye for design - as well as being able to pull together the complex requirements to deliver it. We are very happy with the work completed and the professional quality of work and finishes. We would not hesitate to use them again in the future.

As a single mum managing the renovation of my old sizeable private mansion in Cobham, I was initially overwhelmed by the scale of the project. However, together with my architect Home Republic Ltd. proved to be an invaluable partner in this endeavour. Their expertise in handling everything from structural changes to intricate interior details was impressive, especially given my limited knowledge of building and renovation. The team consistently communicated clearly and concisely, ensuring I was comfortable and informed at every project stage. Their collaboration with my architect was seamless, resulting in innovative and effective solutions that beautifully transformed my home. A standout feature of their work is the round window installed in the conservatory. It exemplifies their attention to detail and commitment to adding unique, characterful elements to their projects. I particularly appreciated their transparent approach to pricing. As a budget-conscious homeowner, I found their pricing fair and their adherence to the agreed budget commendable. This level of financial integrity is crucial for any substantial renovation project. I highly recommend Home Republic Ltd. to anyone embarking on a home renovation journey. Their blend of technical skill, professional integrity, and customer-focused approach makes them an ideal choice for homeowners seeking a reliable and skilled building partner. I want to thank especially Alex, Igor, Max, and Naz, for their fantastic work and everyone from Home Republic who helped to turn my property into the beautiful home it has become.

We recently completed ground floor back and side extension, and internal alterations with Home Republic. The team was very professional throughout the process. What we liked the most about Home Republic was their great communication throughout the process, their expertise and attention to details. As with every project some unexpected issues came up but they were very quick to resolve them and always able to find suitable solutions. The detailed quotation we received at the begining was fairly priced and accurate. We ended up doing some extra work which they were able to accommodate. We highly recommend Home Republic. Thank you Alex, Max and entire team for helping us realise our vision!

We carried out a conversion / refurbishment project with Home Republic and have been extremely impressed. Our works consisted of the conversion of 3 flats into a single 5 bedroom home, including a rear extension and complete refurbishment. They entirely stripped the property, carried out structural works and fine interior finishes. Across the board, the Home Republic team worked really hard to give us the end product we wanted, thinking on their feet to find solutions to the inevitable surprises of a construction project whilst keeping their good humour. They are cooperative, commercially fair, resourced our project adequately to meet our demanding programme and we couldn’t recommend them enough. Thank you Home Republic!

Cannot recommend Home Republic enough. We aren’t local to London and were very nervous as it was our first extension and have heard about some terrible builder horror stories. We were also let down countless times by other builders. We feel very lucky to have stumbled across Home Republic who put us as ease and were nothing but honest from the very start. Everything was outlined and explained clearly at the beginning. Their builders were on site working hard every day for 12 weeks, we only received phone calls for clarity on what we wanted. The rest we left in their hands, happy to be guided by their experience and we could not be more satisfied with the result. Our project manager, Alex, was absolutely incredible - efficient, knowledgable and extremely experienced. The whole team themselves were lovely to work with and be around- we even had praise from our neighbours who called them ‘absolute professionals’. They are utter perfectionists, our extension has come out even better than we could have hoped and my home is completely transformed. Thank you so much again to the whole team

I recently had the pleasure of working with the Home Republic team in renovating my 3-bedroom apartment situated in NW8. I was very impressed with their professionalism, attention to detail, and efficiency. The renovation involved: - Breaking down the partition wall between the kitchen and living room - Completely renovating all three bathrooms - Adding a utility room - Adding air conditioning throughout - Painting the walls with fresh new colours Overall, I am really pleased with how the renovation turned out. They were on time and budget and easy to work with. My apartment looks amazing and I am so glad I chose the Home Republic team. I would highly recommend the Home Republic team for any residential or commercial project.

We recently completed a double-storey extension project on our home, with Home Republic as our chosen builder. Having vetted some other building companies, Home Republic seemed by far the most professional from the outset. I'm glad to say that our choice was the right one. Company founder, Alex and our two site managers Alex & Adrian kept us informed throughout the process, answering all our queries and complying with our wishlist. We wanted to thank their team for completing the project in a suitable timeframe and for the superb quality of the work. As with any build, there were challenges along the way but Home Republic made sure these never escalated anywhere near the nightmare builds you often hear about. Home Republic were truly exceptional and we would recommend them to anyone considering a project on their house.

Home Republic were great. They completed new bathrooms and kitchens in our house. The project was completed on time and at very high quality. The communications throughout the project were excellent and the inevitable changes were handled very well. The invoicing versus the project plan was excellent and allowed us to be confident that work was being done on time and on budget. At the end of the project the team put in long shifts to finish on time and left the house clean and tidy. I would highly recommend Home Republic.

Everyone you speak to before starting a house renovation project tells you that ALL builders are the same - they never complete on time, overcharge you (with bills going up in multiples of the original quote), don't do a good job and certainly do not prioritize you towards the end of project. Home Republic is the exact opposite of this. Their team is very professional, very competent, and extremely hard working. I have been lucky to work with them recently and would HIGHLY recommend them to my friends and family.

Thank you Alex, Max and the whole team! These guys are the best!!

Alex and Igor were exceptional from start to finish. Clear and detailed quote fairly priced for a top quality job. I would recommend this company for any construction project, they really care and go the extra mile. A+++

Home Republic designed and built us a house of our dreams in 2022. On time and with an exceptional attitude. Whole process from excavations & structure to top quality finishes was decently managed. We can confidently recommend them for the most challenging projects.

Home Republic completed a large single story kitchen extension in December 2021. The entire process was well run from start to finish with clear communication and an exceptional quality of build. Throughout the process Alex, and the project managers Rolandas and Sergey were communicative, efficient and clear on project next steps. At a personal level, they were also easy to work with. The final product is a high quality extension, that we feel safe in the knowledge has been carried out to a high degree of workmanship. I would happily recommend them, and work with them again on future projects.

Home Republic are professional, transparent and extremely efficient. The quality of work is outstanding, and communication during my project has been top class from start to finish. I’d happily use Alex and his team again and recommend them to anyone looking for a first class experience and build.

Home Republic completed a wrap-around extension and full home “back to brick” renovation for me. All I can say is that from the seemingly unending number of decisions needed to be made during the design/build process, the best one by far was to partner with Home Republic to do it. Right from the outset with a detailed and transparent quote, to the regular communication and check-ins (shout out to Alex and Igor), and of course the work itself which was done to an exceptionally high standard (looking at you Vitali). In the rare case that there was something I thought needed to be re-done, could use a lick of paint or even had a squeak to it – the team took it upon themselves to make sure I was happy. And indeed I am. Very happy. If you need a builder you can trust day in and day out in your home to deliver your vision, look no further than Home Republic. I’ve got my dream home thanks to them.

Alex and the team worked with me to build a house from scratch in Wimbledon, the team were hard workign , clean , personable and did an amazing job . The project was seamless from Drains , Build , Electrics and Wardrobes to name a few . The result was so good that people knocked on my door after the projet was complete and asked for the builders details - there is no more a recommendation than that .

We worked with Max and Alex on refurbishing our community centre in Hendon. They were a pleasure to work with and finished our project on time and in budget. So very happy working with them, would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending their company.

Home Republic completed work on my front garden in January 2022. From start to finish they were communicative, efficient and extremely tidy. Both Alex's and the team were a pleasure to work with and we will be using them again.

Home republic are a fantastic building company. They built our extension and renovated the rest of our house including the garden. Could not fault them in any way. Also, really great guys to work with!!

Complete design and build service on my new home. All team was professional, diligent, quick and extremely polite. Can't be more happy!

Reliable, experienced and efficient - a fantastic team to trust with your home conversion/renovation projects, whatever the size. The Home Republic team did a fab job for us on a full house extension/refurb (loft extension / rear extension and side return + full remodelling, plumbing electrical and decoration) in challenging circumstances (including lockdowns and the supply challenges they brought). The team were consistent, hard working and delivered a great quality of finish. Would definitely recommend.

I have to congratulate you on the fantastic job your team did excavating the basement with the kitchen and dining area and additional bedroom. It is greatly built and, moreover, since summer the heat has been on in this area for a total of no more than 10 hours, even including the very cold spell we just had. That I think is pretty amazing and I am grateful to you for all the comfort you provided.

I checked with two past clients of Home Republic before I engaged them. I visited these projects and hired Home Republic on the strength of the recommendation and the quality of the work I saw. I wasn't disappointed. I am delighted with my new loft conversion and kitchen extension. I can’t compliment the team enough. They established a positive relationship with me from the beginning and have maintained that till the present. Their approach is kind and engaged. They are creative professional builders with excellent planning skills - insightful diagnostic and proactive - they offered helpful intelligent 'tweaks' to the plans. They work with excellent craftsmen. I always had the sense that my job was important and that it was progressing. One quality that I really appreciated was that there was always an immediate response to my texts leaving me reassured and soothed throughout the project. Though the job is finished, they have maintained this quick response my texts. I am extremely happy with the standard of their work in the detail and overall impression.

Alex and his team completed a full renovation on my house earlier this year. The work included a ground floor extension, loft conversion, and interior decorations. Honestly, I found the whole team to be professional, courteous, and extremely tidy throughout the build; even when the dust took hold and settled everywhere. I found the team knowledgeable, experienced, and determined to go above and beyond to address any unforeseen issues. I would especially like to thank Igor, the project manager in charge, for his professionalism and patience with a novice like myself, who spent a good amount of time explaining in detail every aspect of the build. I am extremely happy with the finish and quality of work conducted on my premises. This company is the real deal and comes highly recommended. I would not hesitate to commission Home Republic again in the future.

Really nice finish , detailed quote, delivered on time, great communication and helpful suggestions made.

Home Republic Team provided excellent, professional service throughout the project. Reliable and honest. Definitely 5 star. Definitely could recommend

I cannot recommend these guys highly enough! Outstanding work! We had the team do several things in our house - paint multiple rooms, redo our downstairs toilet, uninstall and install 15 doors as well as some smaller jobs. The quality of the work was brilliant. And above all, the service was exemplary. The team care about doing a good job and leaving customers satisfied. We will certainly be using them again.

I’ve now worked with Home Republic for well over a year on an extensive renovation of our 1930s terrace. We’ve extended up and out, replaced almost everything, and added in some features you wouldn’t necessarily call standard. The team have worked so hard to deliver what I wanted and have delivered, even through the struggles of the last year. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

We used Home Republic in 2020 for a full renovation of our semi-detached house. We had our house fully re-done by Alex and the team and we added a loft extension and a rear extensions. The project lasted around 6 months and we are extremely happy about the final results. The team was always available to talk, we had a Whatsapp group which was very handy (and helped the communication during the Lockdowns). The team was very professional, experienced and knowledgeable. Our project Manager was always there to help and really made sure that everything was the way we wanted it. Also the aftercare after the project has been finished has been amazing. We would highly recommend the Home Republic team for your next project.

We have chosen home republic for our renovation project and very pleased with the outcome....we would recommend Alex and team on any building/renovation projects ! Great Service, flexible, quality work and very much responsive to customer needs !

We used Home Republic in 2021 to do a side return and ground floor renovation of our Victorian terrace in Battersea. Alex and his team were consistently polite and knowledgeable. We were very pleased with the end result and would highly recommend them to others.

Home Republic worked on our development project - a new build house in Surrey Hills. Alex and his team exceeded our expectations! Very professional team. The project has been successfully completed in time. Delivered quality standards - on the highest level. Highly recommend.

Fantastic team! Exceptional attention to the detail at every stage of construction process! Most outstanding communication/coordinating skills presented by company director Alex! Would recommend and will be coming back! Thank you very much and all the best, guys!!!

We had our old kitchen knocked down and had a large new kitchen, bathroom and utility built, including a very extensive patio and landscaping around them. The project lasted around 6 months. Wow! What can I say! Home Republic were fabulous all along, from inception to conclusion. Their management, handling and oversight of the project was excellent. Their workforce varied in number depending on the need for each stage of the project. All the staff, from the labourers to the seniors were all very friendly, patient, respectful and professional at all time. They have very experienced and knowledgeable staff, who had lots of helpful ideas and suggestions when it came for us to make quite a lot of decisions along the way. They are not afraid to redo some of the work (at their own expense) if they are not completely happy with it. Regular fortnightly meetings were held between the clients, the architects and Home Republic management to keep track of progress and discuss/resolve any issues. We are extremely happy with the result - it feels like a 5-star hotel. The pictures speak for themselves (look for Green Lane under projects). We would highly recommend Home Republic for your next project - you will not be disappointed!

1st Class builders, these guys handled our build with skill and efficiency, from the very start to the end of the job and even after they were polite, clean and helpful. My experience of builders was not that good, but these guys have restored my faith. Well done guys and thanks very much.

This was a big job - renovating a victorian house -absolutely everything needed overhauling. There were major structural changes and at one point the house was almost a shell. Now we are living in a beautiful home that is the envy of our friends. When I met Alex from Home Republic the thing I liked most about him and his team was their calm demeanour and attitude that anything was possible. Financially, everything was set out very clearly and I always knew what the cost was; any extra additions had to be approved, and these were also clearly costed. If there was something I did not agree with or felt could be improved upon, I felt able to bring it up comfortably and there was always room for discussion. The project manager I was assigned, Oleh, was something of a superstar. He is a perfectionist. I'll admit, I'm particular, so there were sometimes small niggles on both sides, especially with a job this big. That said, we were always able to work things out very satisfactorily. The finishing and attention to detail were superb, and the electrical and gas plan fittings, which were massive, have been completed to the highest standards. We ended up adding on the front drive and a cabin at the back of the house. The other thing I would say is that the project was completed in good time. I have had friends whose building work seems to go on and on, while ours was completed between February and July during the pandemic. I have and will continue to highly recommend Home Republic.

Alex and his team helped us reconfigure the downstairs of our Victorian semi, creating an open-plan kitchen/diner/play area, adding a new utility and downstairs toilet, installing new flooring and underfloor heating throughout the downstairs and building an entirely new stepped patio outside. They also replastered and redecorated our lathe and plaster stairwell. If lockdown hadn't happened in the middle of the work, they would have finished ahead of schedule. They were thorough, fastidious and carried out the work to a high standard.

We have been dealing with Alex and the team at Home Republic for a few years now and we cannot praise them enough. Extremely professional company that have successfully delivered on a large number of our projects. We have never had any issues to report and they are our goto contractor for every project we undertake. We are an Architects practice therefore the clients experience is paramount. We compete over 150 residential projects per year and deal with lots of different contractors however I can honestly say that these guys are some of the best in the business. 5 star business!!

Home Republic did a brilliant job on our one storey extension. The work was carried out to a very high standard. All the workers on site were great and caused remarkably little disruption to us. Home Republic liaised very well with other contractors ( windows and floor) and competed all the work most efficiently. Budgeting was very detailed and transparent and follow up care excellent. I would strongly recommend Home Republic again .

Alex has worked with us for over 20 years. He has helped design and construct our family home, my grandparents' home, my uncle's home, constructed our storage units, and has done the entire construction of our local temple (3 storey building) in Hendon. He and his different teams are a wonderful bunch of talented hard workers. Enthusiastic, competent professionals with a keen eye for detail. Various Project Managers: Alex, Max, Val, Igor, Coco, Alex (another one)

I needed an extension to enable me to live downstairs. Home Republic did a wonderful job. The workman were very professional and friendly.

Home Republic carried out an internal extension (garage conversion) and extensive wood flooring at my home. The work is to the highest standard and has transformed the property even better than I had imagined.

A fantastic team at Home Republic helped to create an amazing total home modernisation and expansion project over a 7 month period. Alex, Igors, Nazare and the whole team were so responsive to all of the challenges faced when you take a 4 bedroom semi detached house back to the bare brick, remove all floors and the roof and extend into the garden and on the side up to the loft. We selected Home Republic due to the confidence that Alex and Igors provided in the pricing and in the discussions on how the project would be managed. We have not been disappointed by our choice and we can highly recommend the team. The attention to detail, the care taken in ensuring the site was always clean and tidy, the approach to discussing choices related to finishes, locations of power and data cabling and in working with our selected window and kitchen contractors. We are delighted with the final finishing details and whilst the inevitable discussions on additional items to the original scope have of course occurred as the scope changes throughout the project, Alex and Igors have always been fair and reasonable and we have total faith in placing our trust into Home Republic for what was a major project. The team who worked on the project will be remembered for their care, attention and professionalism. Can not rate the team highly enough.

We found Home republic from FMB portal and then they were selected out of detailed tendering process as we had detailed designs ready from architect consultants. They did our full house (5 bed) refurbishment which includes single story rear extension to create open kitchen cum plan living area, integrated services utility, home office, 4 bedrooms, ensuite and 2 bathrooms. Key highlights of the project were seamless flow between open plan living and landscaped back garden through bi-fold door, massive skylight on the extension roof, underfloor heating, smart heating and electric controls and home office set-up. Any challenge thrown them at was delivered by the team with precision and best quality. We are absolutely delighted by the quality of work, on time schedule and whole project, progress managed by an app without hassle. Detailed quotes and spend tracking on week by week basis, helped to manage finances during the project. I would recommend their services to deliver high quality work. All works completed with pleasure by Alex, Egor and entire team. Thanks, Alex, Egor, Vitali and entire team.

We engaged Home Republic to renovate our house in West London. Our consultant architects arranged for various companies to tender for the work. Home Republic won the contract and were outstanding in completing the renovation on time and to a very high standard. This was a 12 week project to completely renovate the house, floor to roof. They were courteous, efficient, they had excellent ideas and we were left with the impression that they were renovating our property as if it were their own. We cannot thank them enough for their efforts and we have no hesitation in recommending Home Republic to anyone. They are an excellent firm.

Before we chose our builders, we interviewed five companies, had them quote based on a detailed schedule of work and visited ongoing and finished building sites for each. Home Republic was the most competitive, had the cleanest sites and the happiest home owners. I am pleased to say that we are now part of the (very) happy home owners. In the agreed upon 6 month time frame they completely refurbished our Victorian house in central London. Kitchen extension with amazing roof lights. Dormer loft conversion. Underfloor heating. New staircases. New bathrooms. New floors and internal walls throughout the property. 28 new metal structural beams. Bi-folding doors to gardens (which they landscaped for us). Every window replaced. They had a team on site everyday. Construction site was tidy and cleaned up after every work day. Excellent communication with dedicated WhatsApp group, weekly scheduled site meetings and ad hoc ones as needed. We were always consulted when a decision had to be made and Max also had a couple of good suggestions for improvements on bits and pieces. Amazing attention to details and finishings. This was really a skillfully executed and stress-free project thanks to Alex, Max & team.

Every single member of the Home Republic team we've had the pleasure to encounter has consistently been great. Highly skilled, professional, friendly, diligent, exceptional quality of service and care is core to everything they do.. Alex and his team delivered a 6m, single storey extension, new family bathroom, new cloakroom, and large loft conversion on time within budget and above all to an extremely high-level of quality. We lived on-site while the work was happening and were never inconvenienced, in fact I am still amazed at how easy they made it for us. Hire them, you won't regret it!

Home Republic built our kitchen extension in 2017. They were hard working and efficient and completed on time and on budget. Alex was always available to consult and advise. Two years later we are still very happy with our kitchen.

Had a great experience working with the team from Home Republic, they remained flexible throughout the project, nothing was too much trouble, great attention to detail, our new space is amazing! The level of aftercare since project completion has also been First Class!

We recently had Home Republic complete a rear single story extension on our house and we love it! We were really impressed by Home Republic. We had no issues at all and project was completed to time and budget. Staff were prompt and friendly and we met daily to discuss progress and upcoming decisions to be made. They offered suggestions throughout the build of options and alternatives where they saw improvements could be made. Absolutely love our new house and so pleased with final result and finish. Definitely recommend them!

Home Republic, is a well established London based company that provides homeowners with high-quality building services. As an architectural designer, I have been working with Alex and his team on a number of projects. Efficiently working throughout projects, we have managed to maximise development potential and lower costs where needed so that clients' desires are satisfied. Alex and his team have proven to be very knowledgeable about what they do. Alex is very easy to work with on and off-site, a great professionalist.

We worked with Home Republic on our family house in Putney. The project involved demolition, rebuild part of the house and renovating the whole house. We were very impressed by how professional everyone on the team was. Alex was friendly and knowledgeable. His attention to detail and alway searching for perfection made the job easy for us. Have recommended them to many of our friends.

Alex, Igor, Vitali and the team were very professional and did a fantastic job on our loft conversion. They guided us through the process, no query was too small, and we are really pleased with the finished product! They are very conscientious and considerate builders, I definitely recommend them based on our experience.

Exceptional builders who pride themselves on achieving their clients’ aims efficiently and without compromise. Our mission was to make our Victorian house as sustainable as possible while staying faithful to its aesthetics and Alex, Max and colleagues at Home Republic did their utmost to accomplish this. Professional, considerate and extremely hard-working, they kept up the momentum at every stage of the project, taking care to liaise with us whenever necessary, maintaining a can-do approach and often mocking up alternative options to facilitate decisions. They managed almost all jobs in house or through associates, notably the outstanding electricians at Elincom and an excellent bespoke joiner, but also worked well with independent specialists when required. Their clear pricing and organised project administration was very welcome, as was their responsiveness to problems, and patience when we couldn’t answer queries. Above all they were polite, friendly and a delight to deal with.

I would not hesitate to recommend Home Republic to any prospective clients. They did a great job on our extension. They are also friendly, hard working and were always happy to help with several suggestions for options for us to consider as the build progressed. We would definitely ask them to tender if we planned any further building work on our property

We recently completed a double storey extension to the rear of our property with Home Republic. We chose them because we felt, from our first meetings with Alex and Igor, that they were professional, friendly and very well-informed. They reassured us from the beginning and we felt we were in good hands. Now our project is complete, we are extremely pleased with the result and would not change a thing. The work has been done to an exceptionally high standard and was completed on schedule. It was a pleasure to work with the whole team; we found them to be organised, hard-working and considerate at all times. They are already pencilled in for our next project...

- Complete house renovation - Single storey extension (pitched roof) - Garage conversion - Driveway paving - Garden landscaping The Home Republic Ltd team were professional, knowledgeable, dependable, imaginative/inventive, & friendly throughout the project. The project was completed on time & the standard of finish is exceptionally high.

We have worked with Home Republic on several building projects. They have been professional and diligent from initial estimates stage, through tender stage and into the build phase. Issues on site are dealt with proactively and with the interests of the client at the heart of any decision. Home Republic work extremely hard to ensure that each client has the same great experience.

Superb builders, courteous, professional, fair pricing and honest, top notch. I have used them multiple times over many years and highly recommend them. Alex is a man of integrity.

Super professional and really high quality work. Transparent pricing and very responsive to any questions or concerns. Worked hard to catch up on any delays (e.g. the inevitable late windows), and kept us informed of progress. A really nice team - without exception everyone who worked on the project was friendly, considerate and incredibly hard-working.
