The Dorset Hutmaker

Based in the heart of rural Dorset we make beautifully crafted bespoke shepherd's huts and furniture. Our huts encompass a timeless, traditional design reimagined for modern day living solutions. The shepherd's hut offers a wonderful, versatile and adaptable space which has proven popular across both business and private use; from a spare bedroom (avoiding the expense and upheaval of an extension!), a creative writers space, artist’s studio, kids playroom, treatment rooms for spas and hotels, salons, bars to smaller self-catering glamping units with built-in kitchens and bathrooms. All of our hut designs incorporate the use home grown English timbers, for us such an important part to maintaining the integrity of its design whilst also reducing our environmental impact.
