Please do not use this company. They are dangerous and need investigating. I paid a substantial sum for a two story extension for my house. They were by no means the cheapest of all the quotes but seemed the most polite and professional. I did my due diligence and visited the site in the picture above that they were working on at the time, this is by no means my first building project. Their standard of work seemed excellent. A JCT contract was agreed and signed and work started well. However around four months into the build approximately four weeks before the estimated end date things started to go very wrong. Plumber didn't show up, expensive Fired Earth tiles were fixed to the walls back to front, paint work was patchy and shoddy. The house was a mess, everything was covered in dust, the garden trashed, my belongings thrown into a garden shed. More money was demanded and as it was just before Christmas I felt I needed to oblige. Eventually the new boiler was installed but with it came a terrible smell. For the next three weeks after Christmas, every time I visited the house to see the progress I asked what was the smell? Then suddenly, no contact. All the builders disappeared but the smell remained. I called, text, even turned up at the builders house to no avail. He had clearly no intention of coming back and like a fool I had overpaid. I gave him two weeks to respond before getting in new builders. Thank god I did. The smell was gas (not on mains but Calor gas) where the wrong size flue had been connected to not a new but a ten year old boiler. Gas was spilling out everywhere. The "new' mega flow was also years old and only capable of serving a 1 bedroom house not a four bedroom. Extensive work has had to be carried out to make the house safe and get me the sign off needed from building control. This has come at great cost to myself - new boiler, flue, mega flow, bathroom retiled and reinstalled, the house has had to be repainted, electrical work redone. What frightens me the most is had I not moved out temporarily with my young children whilst the work was taking place, we could have been poisoned from the gas fumes or the whole house could have gone up in smoke. This man needs stopping. He has cost me all of my savings and some. Please take heed.

I will focus on the facts. I would like to give this company 'zero' stars but Houzz does not allow me this option. Yes the work seems to be of good standard in the pictures but for me it is not the same. I believe the company left my father's bathroom for disabled to complete the job in the picture which did not have the same URGENCY as did my father due to disability. I am now left with an incomplete bathroom. So far some locks and handles have stopped working as the quality is very cheap compared to the price charge for the project and sliding door problems and I have had to get another builder to solve these issues and pay him separately. Currently, I cannot get hold of this company. Vensters, you know who I am so I would urge you to call me.
