formed in 2009
We manufacture rustic products by hand in our small workshop including sliding barn doors hardware barn doors and bespoke furniture pieces to customers request, as well as offer offering a domestic,commercial, industrial door repair and installation service. We have over 20 years in the door industry & a lifetime in the construction industry we know our products and the challenges they offer so please feel free to call us if you hit any problems with any of our DIY products

Terry and his team are wonderful - i needed my door hardware making urgently to fit around my carpenters availability and they were so, so accommodating - prioritising my order and getting out in perfect time for my carpenter to do his work. All the hardware is wonderful quality and Terry was very proactive in his communication and offers to speak with my carpenter if there were any issues. I'm super pleased with my finished doors and its thanks to Terry and the team that they are in now as the carpenter hadn't got another slot in his schedule until June! Thoroughly recommended!

We ordered some American style hanging barn doors - rustic style. Terry was always very helpful, and the paperwork side was professional. the final goods were just what we wanted. Delivery time was behind schedule due to machinery breaking down , but Terry was upfront about this. Only thing I'd say was the wall screws provided for the overhead tracks were not strong enough so we bought our own.

We were planning a room partition and looked online for some sliding doors. Very pleased we found Doormate. We have low ceilings so we had very little latitude in the height of the door. The web site gives very good details as to the dimensions of the tracking so we able to commission the doors to the size required after a number of exchanges of emails. Terry was very helpful. Doors arrived a few weeks later with some off cuts so we were able to test various finishes before applying a wax to the doors. Was straightforward to install; the predrilled holes in the track were as to plan. Perfect finish and we are delighted with the end result.

Sliding barn door mechanism. Made a big difference to our house, the doors look great on it. Good communications too. Had to get someone who knew what they were doing to fit the bits though. Happy with that, needed doing properly.
