Absolutely awful experience. Safe yourself the trouble! I ordered a fireplace in October, it was measured incorrectly, wrong basket, wrong glass header. Now they are unable to fit any glass on at all so are actually coming to remove the fireplace entirely. Their careless fitters threw oily chimney soot all over my brand spanking new cream carpet, 18 stains to be exact, and Chesneys have refused to accept liability, so no one is paying for the damages. Now that they are taking away the fireplace it was all for absolutely nothing. Anyone know of any reputable places I could use instead?

As a company we have specified Chesney's fireplaces for many years. The fireplaces are very high quality and the designs are beautiful and fit in our buildings and interiors so well.

I worked with Lynsey and the team at Chesney's in 2017 to install a fireplace in the living room of a project we were working on in St John's Wood, London. Lynsey was available at short notice for questions and meetings and kept us updated on the order at all times. I will be working with them again on future projects and have no hesitation in recommending them.

Chesney's provided a thoroughly satisfactory service through every stage. The process started with a helpful discussion in their Battersea showroom about which wood buring stove to choose, focussed on which one would be most suitable given the size of our living room and the style of the existing fireplace. They then provided a very thorough site survey, with advice and information from the surveyor. The installation date was set up very promptly and the installers arrived on time. They were very experienced, and worked tidily and efficiently. Once the stove was in situ, they gave us a practical demonstration of how to use it, including safety tips. We are thrilled with the end result, and would definitely recommend Chesney's, both for the quality of their product, and the professionalism and friendly attitude of their support team.

We asked Chesney's to supply and fit the fireplace for the drawing room of a large family home; they couldn't have done the job better. The fireplace itself is superb quality, the design just right, and the survey and fitting was perfectly professional. I won't hesitate to call them again.

We used Chesney's to supply and fit two fireplaces in a London town house. The fire surrounds and inserts are beautiful. They gave us all the advice we needed and provided details of people who could help with flu lining and specialist lintel provision. The service was great and the product fantastic. We would have no problem recommending them to client's and look forward to working together in the future.

Outstanding products, staff are extremely helpful and are their through ordering to installation. We used their Burlington fire surround in one of our resent projects and looks amazing.
