Balmain and Balmain

Established in the West Country in 1987 by Andrew and Sarah Balmain, ours is a proudly British furniture brand. In 2015, their daughter Henrietta took over management of Balmain & Balmain, having been involved day-to-day for over a decade. Growing up surrounded by fabric pattern books and with a mother who specialised in textile design, Henrietta was drawn to the decorating world. Before heading Balmain & Balmain, she worked for over 15 years on design teams at Colefax and Fowler and other leading London fabric houses and still undertakes numerous interiors projects internationally. One recent project — the refurbishment of a chalet in Meribel, France — won the award of “France’s Best Chalet” at the World Ski Awards in January 2018. Based in the pretty village of Wilton on the Berkshire/Wiltshire borders, we are inspired by our surroundings to create beautifully finished furniture built using the best in traditional and modern manufacturing techniques. Backed by a dedicated team of upholsterers and with excellent relationships with leading decorators and fabric suppliers, Balmain & Balmain is a brand that is gaining a following among those with a good eye for contemporary, stylish interiors.
