Excellent. I purchased a bed & mattress for my son's first bed. It was made to order and stands at a low height as requested. Burgess also included higher castors to change to when he gets older so the bed will last my 3 year son through to his teens and beyond. The mattress is perfect & is lovely & comfortable - not too hard & is perfect for my son. The customer service I received was fantastic! Jodi & Nicole & their team kept me informed & updated from placing the order to the aftercare service, the delivery men who assembled the bed were also great! Extremely pleased with the whole experience & also the end product. Would highly recommend.

Really great hand made traditional mattresses. I really like burgess because they are a small family run company so the communication and any custom specifications are easily agreed and done, the mattress range is very good so you can have your finest cashmere, and hair mattress for the client and then the standard range with manmade fiber for the guest rooms. It makes your life so much easier when you can get all the mattresses and made to order beds from the same manufacturer. They have a showroom at the factory where the client can see the full range of mattresses as well as the production of them. I am an interior designer and for me if I have a small family run reputable company producing what I specify that it the best way to work saving me time and making the product personal to the client, ideal situation.

My most recent purchase from Burgess is a bespoke bed for my daughter Lottie. We already have a bed from Burgess which we love and when my daughter had finally grown out of her cot, Burgess was my first contact. I met with Jodi Schofield (Sales Director) who knew instantly what we wanted. She has such enthusiasm and is a complete expert in her field. She designed the bed, made to measure for the room we have and showed us all the different fabrics, mattresses etc available. Its perfect for a toddler but will also last a number of years. (5ft wide x 4ft length - the base is low at 18cm but can be adjusted at a later date by added higher feet). Within a couple of weeks the bed was delivered and assembled. My daughter is thrilled in her big girl bed. Its beautiful and we couldn't be happier. Excellent service A* - would definitely (and have) recommended.
