Emily Readett-Bayley has worked directly with highly skilled, craft co-operatives in Indonesia for over 25 years creating her own unique range of furniture, baskets and home accessories. Best known for her POSH Graffiti brand of wooden typography and POSH Salvage reclaimed teak garden furniture range, her latest Earth’s Baskets Wicker collection utilises wild rattan cultivated and woven by the indigenous Dayak communities living in the Borneo rainforest. It is a small but critical part of the Katingan Project, a 200,000 hectare, Eco System Restoration Concession (ERC) working to reduce carbon emissions and deforestation by conserving the peat forests of Indonesia.
