Jarapa have been sourcing and distributing recycled and natural products for over 15 years. The founder, Stewart, saw some unusual rugs in a local shop in Spain whilst on holiday. He made a deal with the vendor and bought Jarapa rugs back to sell at markets and shows, and over time added pottery, baskets, rugs and furniture from the Iberian Peninsula. Now our business is almost entirely wholesale and we have focussed our business on recycled, upcycled and natural products. Recycled glassware was an obvious choice of product to increase our range and we have sourced from a number of factories in Spain since 2006. 2016 saw the introduction of bottle lamps designed by Stewart with these being made in the warehouse at Bristol. New designs being developed during the year and launched in the autumn and spring. The range of recycled cotton rugs are all made by a Spanish family meet amny years ago and still form a large part of the range. The range of record clocks has been developed over the last 2 years and are all laser cut on original LP's making each one unique.
