Lauraloves Design

Laura Nicolson is the designer behind the independent home accessories and fabric design label Lauraloves. After getting a degree in Printed Textiles from Edinburgh College of Art, Laura's love for prints blossomed while working in London as a Senior Print Designer at a well-known fashion textile company. Taking inspiration from flowers (her favourites being Hydrangeas and Peony Roses) and the Kent countryside, she founded her own label in 2010 and her contemporary-classic designs have since been featured in magazines including Good Homes, Inside Kent, Period Ideas, and Wealden Times. Sustainability and creative integrity are at the core of the label and all Lauraloves fabrics are designed using Laura’s drawings, paintings and photography and are produced in natural fabrics right here in the UK. In addition to a line of ready-to-enjoy cushions and home accessories, she also creates bespoke prints, fabrics and accessories for interior designers and private clients. Laura loves collaborating to make truly unique pieces that beautifully integrate into a client’s home, whether it's a one-off cushion or a collection of fabrics that feature throughout a family home.
