Martelo and Mo

Founded in 2013 Martelo + Mo are Lucas and Monika - husband and wife duo and self-taught furniture makers. Our passion for design and woodworking transitioned from a fun hobby, furnishing our small apartment, to a full-time business. Monika’s design focus eye and Lucas’s handcrafting skills bring each idea into functional, quality pieces of furniture. Each product is handmade by us in our Hertfordshire studio using both traditional and modern techniques. Longevity and craftsmanship are at the core of each project and selecting only the highest, sustainable quality materials Immersing in design and woodworking gives us both the freedom to express ourselves and be as creative as we can be. Always curious and striving to learn, we devoted our lives to creating unique pieces of heirloom quality.
