Alfa Home Extensions

Alfa Home Extensions provided us with an excellent service when we had a new porch built, driveway repaved and external wall insulation carried out. We found them to be very professional and very considerate builders. The workmanship was excellent and to a very high standard. I can’t recommend them enough and would be happy to use them again.

First time we use this company in 2016 and this is the third time we’ve used Alfa Home Extensions for work on our property, and once again, Raj and his team have been excellent from start to finish. They are highly professional, reliable, and easy to work with. They helped us build Outbuilding, install new double glazing windows and doors, and also replaced our existing kitchen worktop with no issues at all. The quality of their workmanship is outstanding—everything is completed neatly and to a very high standard. What really stands out is how tidy they keep the site. They clean up at the end of each day and make sure everything is well-organised throughout the project, as well as after completion. They handled everything from the build itself to building control and final sign-off, which made the whole process stress-free for us. We’re extremely happy with their service and would highly recommend Alfa Home Extensions to anyone looking for professional and dependable builders.

I hired this builder with the expectation of receiving quality workmanship delivered within the agreed timeframe. Unfortunately, my experience fell far short of that. The work carried out was poorly executed, with several aspects needing to be redone or corrected. Despite multiple assurances, the project was not completed on time, which caused significant inconvenience. One of the most frustrating issues has been the bathroom floor. I have been chasing this since November 2025, and despite numerous promises that it would be corrected in February 2026, the problem remains unresolved. Each commitment has come and gone without action, leaving me with an unfinished and unsatisfactory result. Communication throughout the process was inconsistent, and I often had to chase for updates or clarification. For the price paid, I expected a much higher standard of professionalism and attention to detail. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this builder. I would strongly advise others to seek alternative options to avoid similar issues.

Team Alfa recently completed a full home renovation and extension, and we couldn't be happier with the result. From the very first consultation through to the final handover, the entire process was handled with professionalism, honesty and genuine care. Although we had delays in terms of planning permissions but this did not phase the teams and the teams communicated clearly at every stage, kept us informed of progress, and were always available to answer questions or offer thoughtful suggestions. The workmanship is outstanding — every detail has been finished to an exceptionally high standard, and the quality of materials and construction really shows. What impressed us most was how smoothly the project was managed. Timelines were realistic and well-organised, the site was kept tidy, and any challenges that came up were dealt with quickly and honestly. Raj is very pro-active with his team management and workloads. He was also very helpful with coming up with ideas and suggestions for obstacles that showed up in the process in terms of solutions and has a very good practical knowledge how to tackle situations and achieve the desired result. He was also very resourceful in coming up with different design ideas as well. Our home has been completely transformed, both in terms of space and functionality, and the final result exceeded our expectations. We would not hesitate to recommend Alfa Home Extensions to anyone considering a renovation or extension. An excellent experience from start to finish.

Very good job on my house extensions. High quality and attention to detail so very happy with the end result. The builders have a lot of skill sets so had my whole house renovated and extensions done with a loft without any problems. Raj the owner is very accommodating and helpful too so any issues got sorted quick. Would recommend.

Alfa Home Extensions delivered a beautiful build that has transformed our house from drab and outdated to a modern spacious home filled with light. Raj and his team built two extensions, one to the front and the other to the side of our semi-detached house, in addition, he completely renovated the interior of our home, which now features a wow factor large kitchen and contemporary decor. The build was in part complex, but AHE rose to the occasion and always problem-solved even the trickiest elements. AHE is easy to do business with and delivered a stunning renovation on budget and to plan. We cannot recommend AHE enough.

The team at Alfa, led by Raj and Harpal on site, did a truly incredible job on our house renovation and remodelling. They quoted very fairly and any additions were priced at the same rate. They work was completed to a very high standard and, allowing for some amends to the scope, the project timelines were well adhered to with regular updates and payment structure throughout the construction program. Any challenges were overcome with clever thinking and thoughtful consideration to the end result. The quality of the finish and attention to detail are superb and we are delighted with the work completed. We would be delighted to recommend Alfa Home Extensions to anybody, and have already done so! Thanks Raj!

Are a really reliable, personable, efficient company, led by Raj. Raj has led the project from the start. At the very start of my project planning, when I was investigating how to do major building works, Raj kindly took the time to explain the process with no promise of work. A full later when I was ready to commence works, he applied for the job, supplying all the relevant paperwork and quotations eventually winning the contract. During the project Raj promised to be reliable and do the best job and he didn’t let me down. He and his team remain could be depending on, arriving early every day and responding swiftly to any questions or queries around the project, working both reliable and flexible in the preparation, or project development. Communication as always open, to overcame unexpectedly challenges, always willing to offer advice or expert professional referrals (such as when we requires structural calculations). Raj was a guiding force on the process. The major works started in January, but despite the time of year, and at times awful weather, the staff arrived promptly and worked consistently completing then major roof structural work quickly and efficiently. As the project progress it was clear Raj was always focused on ensuring we were happy with the service and finish, which did provide a lot of reassurance. I undertook the work while heavily pregnant, Raj went above and beyond to ensure was that the project didn’t create stress always willing to provide reassurance that the project would be delivered in time for baby’s arrival. After the completion of the project Raj has remained on call for any snagging and ensuring we remain a very satisfied customer. Raj over the journey became a friend and was a pleasure to work with.

Raj and the alfa team recently did a garage extension and conversion project for me to a very high spec. They were professional throughout and finished the job within the time frame and on budget. No issue was ever a problem for Raj who always focused on solutions. My Wife and I are very happy with the finished space and we both highly recommend Alfa Home Extensions.

Honest, Reliable, Hardworking, Funny and provides good value for money.

Team Alfa did a brilliant job of our loft and back extension. We have had other workmen doing work for us over the years but the work ethic and attention to detail is second to none, moreover they did not cut any corners like I've seen other workmen do. They accommodated the few slight changes we made on the way without any fuss at all as I did mention to them from the outset that I am very particular about finishing and do expect picture perfect finish all around and they followed that to the 'T'. I was so pleased with them and their work that I recommended them to my brother who also had work done at his house and he told me he had also introduced them to a friend of his and a work colleague as well. I will have no hesitation recommending to any of my family and friends for their projects.

Finding a realiable builder is very difficult but i would like to thank the great and hard working team who build rear extension and full internal renovation in my property based in Windsor, Alfa home extensions completed all work as per promise, no additional cost and within time frame. I would personally like to thank them for the finishing is professional and puts their construction skills at very high level, I'm glad to have gone with this decision and would not change it for the world. Will be recommending and using again if ever need be. The head builder was lovely and also attended the property after finishing to make sure everything has settled well✌. Their Services, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, Responsiveness, Value is really appreciated. So, we are very happy to recommend to everyone.

Amazing experience. It’s very difficult to find trustworthy builders that have a high quality of work and Alpha Home Extensions did not disappoint. We did our house extension and loft. The experience was very pleasing. Highly recommend.

We bought property in 2019 and got renovated and back extension done in Ashford. professional team , work was done on time even during Covid time.Highly recommend.

Alfa team came to our house to completely renovate a bathroom and a downstairs toilet (that wasn't even in use as a toilet at the time). He gave a fair quote for labour and materials. His team worked really hard (without rushing the job). We always felt in safe hands with this team and any extra bits and pieces of work that came up as the job proceeded were charged fairly once agreed upon. They were respectful and tidy. The standard of work was really good. We love our new bathroom and toilet. I highly recommend team Alfa.
