Balham Builders led by Wojciech and his team, undertook a whole house renovation and rear extension on our house in 2021. From our initial meeting with Wojciech during the proposal phase, we were impressed by his professionalism and his commitment to delivery. That same professionalism was also what we experienced during the build process from him and his entire team. The work was undertaken during the covid lockdowns when shortages of all materials were widespread. It is really a massive credit to Wojciech that through his meticulous forward planning and foresight, that our project was finished on time (this was not the experience of friends of ours) and to such a high standard. Wojciech is extremely knowledgeable, organised, experienced, honest and is a great communicator, with frequent updates and meetings along the way to review the work done and explain what is happening next. As the project moves on, decisions need to be made on a regular basis. Wojciech is very good at anticipating these, explaining all the options and giving a recommendation based on his experience. He has excellent relationships with suppliers. He is able to find solutions to any problem that arises, big or small, unexpected or anticipated and this is a credit to his experience. Every time I went to the site (unexpectedly as we lived only 10 minutes away) the full team were hard at work. I felt they took pride in their work and getting it right. His team are very polite and work hard to an excellent standard, cleaning up at the end of each day. Wojciech oversaw all aspects of the work with the team being employed by Wojciech directly, rather than subcontractors which meant there was excellent teamwork and everyone was reporting to Wojciech. His team take great pride in their work and Wojciech was checking everything was done to his high standard. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Wojciech and Balham Builders, in fact, I have already recommended them to several family members and friends.

Balham Builders undertook work on the rear wall of our home in June 2015. The work consisted of fitting a large lintel, removing the wall below, and finishing in preparation for a large sliding patio door to be fitted. He was very knowledgeable, organised the temporary support required while the lintel was being fitted, and offered much sound advice which has benefitted the project. Wojciech worked very hard to complete his contract, finishing before schedule. The quality of his work is very high – he has a real drive to get things right, and with a quality finish.
