Mike's expert building skills transformed this home from ordinary to extraordinary! We work with very high end finishes and materials, and Mike was the perfect fit for the installation and construction. Mike is always thinking ahead, and provides great input to our designs from a construction standpoint. He is very dependable, always adhering to schedule and budget, completing his excellent work, on time and under budget that is! Since completing this complete redo of a master suite, powder room and master bathroom, Mike and I have collaborated on several other projects for my clients. He is my go-to resource for remodeling. “We worked with JPS Construction and design on a large renovation of a dated contemporary waterfront house. They worked closely with us and our architect in the design phase to ensure our vision was brought to life. Through phone, text, and email, JPS was in constant contact and many on site questions could be answered in a timely manner through the use of photos. Our new house is spectacular and couldn't have been done without the hard work of JPS Construction and Design. We look forward to working with them again on future projects.”

“Jamie is one of the best contractors I've worked with. First and foremost he is courteous and professional. He returns phonecalls promptly, shows up when he says he is going to (virtually unheard of!) and stays on schedule. His work is excellent and priced fairly. He has done a number of projects at our home including installing and refinishing hardwood floors, installing new windows, replacing sinks, countertops and installing garbage disposals. We've been thrilled with the results each time. He keeps us abreast of the progress by sending regular updates. Jamie does quality work and I'd recommend him to anyone looking to have work done on their home or business in the greater Newport/surrounding Rhode Island area.”

“I hired this company to do kitchen cabinet refacing based on the high recommendation of a neighbor who is a contractor and who worked for MRD Woodworking in the past. The owner came to my home and then invited me to his very well organized woodworking establishment in South Kingstown, RI. The shop was clean and I go got pick out the cabinet design. The in shop consultation was very helpful, as I could observe the quality of the products that would be used. I also had a special stain color that I wanted for my base cabinets and the company matched it perfectly. The crew was on time, neat, very polite, and personable. Communication with the owner was good, as was clean up by the crew at the end of the day. I was very pleased with the end result and really do now love my kitchen. I would highly recommend them.”

“Mark is great. He helped us out with our kitchen and I really liked how he showed up on time. So many contractors either don't show up or just decide to show up hours later. Nothing worse than taking a day off from work and then the contractor is a "no show". My wife loved the kitchen and Mark was patient with her as she tried to figure out what counter tops and cabinets she wanted...she can be indecisive at times.”
