We were initially introduced to Pete Cook through other tradespeople who recommended him highly - and it didn't take long before we could see why; he went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with the renovation and he clearly cares about both the work and his clients. His team worked through pretty much every room in the house and landscaped the garden. This included changing the layout downstairs - knocking through the dining room / kitchen, creating a downstairs toilet, finally creating two new patios with a custom pergola and bench in the garden. He and his team were professional throughout, we were living in the property during the renovation so it was important for us to get on with the team that were there every day. They were happy to flex the work schedule to meet our needs and Pete helped come up with solutions so we could get more out of the space we were working with. The quality of the finish was excellent - the team were happy to do walk throughs as needed and addressed any snagging or concerns straightaway. We have gone on to recommend him to several other people and will definitely be using him again for our next project.

Commissioned the team to help build a kitchen extension which encompassed enlarging the kitchen footprint, establishing a TV room and utility area, as well as expanding the downstairs toilet. This project involved implementing underfloor heating with the capability to regulate room temperatures across four zones, aimed at curbing heating expenses for unused areas. The house is located in a conservation area so the extension needed to comply with local council guidelines. We had no issues passing council inspection because team had experience building in our area. Team were extremely friendly, professional, reliable and tidy. Fineva construction completed a double storey side, single storey rear loft conversion extension on our property. We were so happy with every aspect of the build, from the planning to the snagging. Everything was done on time (we actually finished slightly early) and more importantly on budget. The communication with Peter and the team was excellent. Fineva Construction came as a personal recommendation, and they did not disappoint. They built a kitchen extension and side return on our Victorian home in Beckenham. At the outset, they helped make all those tricky decisions I had no experience of, and looking back, we made all the right choices. All work was carried out within the 12 week schedule that was initially agreed and to the highest standards. As with any building work, there were small unforeseen issues that arose. But Pete Cook and his guys always had a solution ready and never tried to increase the cost because of them. The plans we had were always flexible, meaning that when our ideas evolved, they were always happy to incorporate them. They made useful suggestions on how to make improvements that we wouldn’t have thought of, such as adding soundproofing between the floors when the opportunity arose. The guys on site were all a pleasure to have around; courteous, polite and hard-working. As someone who works in the building industry, I was very impressed at every aspect of their work, and they are the top recommendation I have in my book of contacts!
