Heron developments went above and beyond for our downstairs renovations. Jon was helpful at giving inspiration as we went along and work took place in the designated timeframe. Tradesmen were polite and highly skilled, they turned up when meant to and completed work to a high standard. It was our first experience of dealing with builders but Jon made it as stress-free as possible and was flexible and accommodating with changes to original plans. Heron Developments exceeded our expectations on our bungalow upward extension project, which had specific planning and structural challenges to overcome in the build.They prepared a detailed breakdown of all the projected costs based on the architect's technical drawing package. Communication was good throughout the project, we were free to visit the site as regularly as we wanted. We found all the people who worked on the project friendly and approachable, the skill of the carpenter and stonemason gave the project the wow factor. Whenever an unforeseen problem arose, Jon was upfront with us and clearly explained what was happening. The finished project has made us very pleased we went ahead with the work. Jon and the team with Heron Developments did a fantastic job on a back to brick full refurbishment for me. The job consisted of converting a dated ground floor property into two separate BEAUTIFUL, two bedroom flats. As this was my first time doing this, Jon, eased any worries I had and also kept me up to date with all works, as well as taking the time to sit down with me and talk through every step. The job wasn't a easy one and we came up against few unforeseen issues which were sorted out effectively and professionally. Putting your faith in company, especially when carrying out a job as large as this one can be daunting but I cannot fault Heron Developments for their passion and professionalism.

We would highly recommend Heron Developments. They restored our faith in the buildng process after we had been let down by another building company. We had a home workshop built from reclaimed stone. Throughout the project they walked us through the work involved & the associated costs of the various stages. We are really pleased with the standard of their finish and will definitely be using their services again.

We recently moved from London and didn’t know much about the area and that of building firms. We were recommended Heron Developments by a family friend. Any major building work carried out at your home is challenging and long. The decision to employ a building company is also a risk. However, from day one of meeting Jon, my husband and I agreed that this is the company we want to work with. Once the team were there, they sprang into action, we felt we were in good hands. A young but experienced workforce, who genuinely are interested in delivering a complete project. We are very happy indeed with the personal investment and finished project. Thoroughly recommended.
