MTP Contracts

We first used MTP Contracts when we had our house extended some years ago. They did this task very well and since then we have used them for all our building work.. They have always been reliable and done an excellent job Will recommend this business.

I have used MTP for a range of projects and have happily recommended the company to friends and business contacts, and continue to do so. July 20 to October 20 - MTP stripped out a 10,133 sq ft office building arranged over three floors, and a 17,000 sq ft office building arranged over five floors. This included strip out and disposal of all items, and purging the gas etc. October 18 to May 20 - MTP completed a full renovation of a dilapidated Victorian house. This included removing roof tiles, relining the roof and reusing original roof tiles, removing chimney stacks. The house was extended. Internal load bearing walls were removed, and steel supports fitted. We used a team recommended by MTP, and the project was completed on time and budget. August to March 18 - MTP completed a comprehensive renovation of a dilapidated Post War house. This included removing the copper roof and replacing it with a modern equivalent. The house was extended. The project included full rewiring, replumbing the entirety, underfloor heating, new windows, internal finishing and external landscaping work. MTP provided useful Asbestos Survey, Structural Engineer and Building Control contacts that Matt Tromans liaised with directly to ensure good communication. May to August 18 - MTP replaced four separate areas of timber decking on terraces in a rental property.

From day one the service and quality of work has been excellent. MTP were faced with quite a difficult job installing a second bathroom in part of the house which presented certain access difficulties. The company tackled all the problems they faced with efficiency and great workmanship. They managed to achieve something which other companies said could not be done and we could not be more pleased with the result

New Kitchen at Timber Frame House Including Structural Work Removal of existing kitchen units, demolition of several internal walls plus installation of two steel beams one 6.5m long. Underfloor heating and new kitchen fitted inc full electrics and plumbing. One of the strengths of Matt and his team is undoubtedly communication. Detailed discussions, advice and ideas provided before work commenced, constant updating and contact throughout. Project was well coordinated with an excellent experienced and personable team. MTP were contracted to do a full refurb on a 3 bedroom semi detached house to include new kitchen, bathroom, removal of inside walls, new flooring throughout and new block paved drive plus landscaping. The finished product was superb in every aspect. Matt, the MD along with his employees and contractors were a pleasure to work with due to excellent lines of communication, budgets adhered to and all deadlines being met on time. I have already recommended MTP for other projects and would not hesitate to use them on my next project.

A large kitchen project involving both extensions and internal wall changes led by Matt and his team. He was always very involved with many ideas from the start, hands on throughout the job and showing true care and desire to excel for the customer. I would wholeheartedly recommend Matt and his team for any prospective project. Having had several renovations in the past that did not go well, my husband and I were incredibly nervous about selecting a building team for our garage conversion. We met with Matt who went through everything with us in great detail, providing us with accurate quotes, start dates and lead times. After the first couple of days of working with Matt we realised we had made the right decision. Aside from doing a great job his team were respectful, polite and always happy to answer any questions. Matt kept us informed daily as to who would be coming in, what time and what they would be doing each day. We could see the workmanship and quality from day one (which after our previous experiences was a complete). Initially Matt and the team were taken on to convert our garage to a studio and office for myself but afterward we continued to work with him to put right the things that previous builders had messed up (leaking extension, side wall that hadn’t been tied in, rafters in the extension roof that were completely rotten and concrete flooring which was breaking up). Matt managed to get everything done for us and our house is now in great shape. I can quite honestly say if another project ever comes up Matt Tromans would be the only person we would consider.
