Petty Pool Construction

Petty Pool construction started work on an extension and complete refurbishment of our 1950s bungalow in July 2020. Despite the challenges of the pandemic the guys who worked on our project did an excellent job in terms of the build quality and speed of build. Gavin project managed and was keen to work with us during the 4 month build to make sure we as the customer were happy with the outcome. There are challenges with any building projects and we made it more difficult for them as we lived at the property during construction (which we would not advise anybody to do.....get a caravan to escape the dirt and grime and lack of heating and lighting!) The lads were really helpful they did whatever they could to work around us and keep us water tight at all times. As part of our contract Petty Pool construction were tasked with managing the 'other trades' who delivered the internal fixtures and fittings such as plumbing, electrics and plastering. This proved to be challenging for them as during the pandemic the trades were stretched in terms of work they had available. I never doubted the quality of the trades that Petty Pool sourced but they did not always complete tasks as quickly as we would have liked. I know that Petty Pool have changed some of the trades they now subcontract to in order to improve their overall service delivery. We were so impressed with the work that Petty Pool did for us we invited them back to build a garden room in the summer of 2021 which they completed to the same high quality. Tom and Jamie are genuine guys that take pride in the work that they do, and are keen to make sure the customer is happy with the end product

From the initial introduction and subsequent quotation it was clear that our pretty major redevelopment was going to be a partnership rather than traditional builder/homeowner. PPC were not only very diligent in carrying out the renovation they were hugely professional but also very personal too. We are really pleased with the outcome and would not hesitate to engage the services of PPC again. An overall fantastic experience.

Great company who we with us through the whole process. Petty Pool completed a side and rear single story extension and were a breeze to work with. Highly recommended!
