South Lakes Building Company

Dave Carrie is the driving force behind the South Lakes Building Company and has over 30 years building and construction experience. The company is based in Staveley and also undertake work in Kendal, Windermere, Ambleside and the surrounding Lake District and Cumbria area. After serving his apprenticeship, he started to specialise in windows, doors and conservatories, firstly gaining extensive experience on the shop floor and then working his way up to production manager for a locally based company in kendal some sixteen years later. In 1993, David formed a company called English Lakes Windows and after several successful years they have found themselves expanding and successfully undertaking shop fitting, loft conversions, building renovations and extensions. With the valueable help of David's son, Duncan, they have established a successful, local family business, South Lakes Building Company, continuing to build and restore the highest quality homes in the Cumbria and Lakes area.
