About Us

After spending over a decade renovating and staging my own investment properties for tenancy and resale, there were two statements that I heard over and over again: “We wish all of the properties we marketed would look like this one.” - Estate Agents. “I wish our house looked like this.” - Prospective Tenants and Buyers. It begged the question of why don’t residences, be they for investment purposes or owner occupied make the people who live in them feel happy, calm and filled with a sense of pride as soon as they open the door. The answer I ran into time and time again: Not enough money, not enough time, or not enough knowhow. With this in mind, I’ve decided to try my best to fill a gap in the market: Providing good design and luxurious interiors without the astronomical price tag usually associated with Interior Designers. I have worked on everything from multimillion pound homes to mainstream investment properties. My range of experience enables me to understand what my clients need in conjunction with being able to achieve it in the most cost effective way. I am just as comfortable liaising with high end luxury vendors as I am in sourcing at more budget friendly stores; though I quite enjoy the challenge of the latter.

Our dream kitchen is finally complete! Everything we wanted and some surprises we didn’t know we needed. Amber took the time to walk through our former kitchen and ask us what we liked and what we didn’t like about it. Then we sat down together and discussed the color palette we were interested in for the kitchen. Every detail including convenient cubbies was discussed. At a certain point we weren’t allowed into the kitchen as Amber prepared it for our final reveal. Our kitchen is not only breathtaking, it is also highly functional in a way we would never have thought of ourselves. Thank you Amber Slack Design, Ltd for a seamless process and the amazing new kitchen!

Amber was great at coming up with fresh ideas for our sons bedroom. We were unsure how to make it look like a child’s room without being garish and filled with clutter. Amber came up with great storage ideas and even introduced colour we’d never have thought of.
