I booked a Personal Design Consultation with Alix as I recently moved into a new build home and wanted to get some ideas about how I could bring my vision to life. The time we had together was so useful! Alix had tile samples, paint sample books and fabrics that really helped bring my ideas together. As well as asking her about paint, lighting and tiling, we talked about paneling and did some measurements to check it'll all work as I visualised. I came away from the consultation so inspired and excited to get going on my plans. I'd really recommend this to anyone who'd like an expert opinion from someone who has so much knowledge and just 'get's it' - thank you Alix!

We had repainted our large kitchen dinner a few times but were never really happy with the result, in addition we were struggling to come up with ideas to replace the rugs in our lounge. Alix paid us a visit and we explained we wanted a warmer feel to the colour schemes, in a short space of time she short listed some changes for us and importantly inspired the confidence in us to make the changes. Result 100% satisfied , amazing change in how the kitchen dinner feels, Alix tied the colours in so well, paying attention to pictures, lighting and even the outside views all explained in easy terms. We recently moved into a new build, and were quite lost on how to make this white box a home. Amberley Studio transformed our living spaces, office and bedrooms. Alix started by getting to know us as a family, how we live, what we like, how we want to feel and more importantly what we didn't want! Alix created mood boards, 2D space layouts, chose lots of furniture options and colour and material recommendations with samples for each room and was completely on point! Her trade discounts purchasing the furniture were amazing and Alix was always on hand to ask questions and make adjustments throughout the process. Alix sourced all the accessories, and came to our home and styled it. We couldn't be more happy, I actually can't believe we live here as it looks so fantastic and has finally made our house into our home. I would totally recommend Alix for any interior design advice, through to full design, purchasing and styling.

Alix had some excellent creative ideas for my small home all of which I plan to integrate. She is so thoughtful, kind and helpful, i would highly reccommend her services.

Having no idea at all, then going through Alix's easy to follow and engaging process we managed to come up with a beautiful colour scheme and design for our open plan Kitchen and living space. Alix also sourced out everything from furniture, ironmongery, light fittings and came up with wonderful styling ideas. Overall we found the whole experience was fun, inclusive, stress free and very much tailored to our needs. We will definitely be using Alix again for our next project.

We were at a complete block with painting and styling our home and the best choice we have made was working with Alix at Amberley Studio. A thoroughly enjoyable experience from the start. She really listened to us talk about how we use our space and what we were struggling with. Her attention to detail is superb, suggesting some tweaks to existing furniture that didn’t cost anything but have made a huge difference to our day-to-day life that we had never thought of ourselves. She was mindful and considerate of our budget constraints and also made sure suggestions were practical for our dog which was appreciated. She has an incredible eye for colour and we were blown away by the mood board and samples we received. My husband had concerns an interior designer might suggest things that weren’t necessarily to our taste but Alix spent time getting to know us both and what we like. One of Alix’s suggestions was to tile a small amount of our kitchen and she found the most BEAUTIFUL tiles (which we both love!) to do that with. From lighting, to paint, to furniture, to small considered details, we are slowly incorporating every single one of Alix’s suggestions into our home. If we ever move, we may need to call her straight away... She is a genius!
