Amy is an innately creative person with experience across the design industry. The skills Amy honed throughout her Graphic design education and former career in publishing link very naturally into the field of interior design. Winning a competition from the renowned KLC School of Design and House & Garden magazine, provided new opportunities to study interior design at KLC and to follow her dream. Amy spent some time working in London for a leading Interior Design firm, predominantly working on residential projects in the UK & abroad; before setting up her own studio – Amy Keast designs in Cambridgeshire in 2018. Amy works closely with clients throughout the design process and oversees every project with a trusted team of specialist tradespeople on hand to make your project a reality. Amy’s love of colour, pattern and texture have always been evident in her designs, but there are two main focusses at the heart of her work. Firstly, the drive to help people by solving problems through design, and secondly, the drive to protect – our environment, traditional local crafts and techniques, and original character. With these key focusses in mind, Amy strives to use natural materials and combine old and new pieces, reclaiming and repurposing objects and materials wherever possible. Whether it is a lack of space, light or personality in your home; or a change in your life that brings new requirements, Amy is a great listener, always aiming to deliver beautiful, sustainable solutions that perfectly solve your needs.
