I'm very happy to recommend Caroline and the rest of the team at Ashton House Design. They helped me fully refurbish a 3-bedroom house. The house is used partly as a holiday let & at other times by me personally. Following a few meetings at the showroom & on site, the team came up with a great range of fabrics and furnishings for the house. These adhered really well to my brief and within budget. Caroline completely managed the installation. I have been thrilled with the result. The house has the 'stylish, relaxed, homely' feel I was hoping for. I really enjoy spending time in my home & have also received many compliments about the interior design from guests. I would certainly use the team again for future projects.

We were lucky enough to buy our new house during the middle of the pandemic. Simon and the Ashton House team worked closely with us both on design and furnishings to give us our dream home. During difficult times where we had limited access to our home Simon listened carefully to our description of the home we wanted and then created a design that went well beyond our expectations. Simon’s attention to detail is fantastic and the relationship he has with the various tradespeople involved with the project made everything as stress free as possible. Ashton House Design were involved in our home renovation project from the very start. This enabled them not only to design every aspect of the interior but also lighting plans, room layouts and bathroom options. Our association with Ashton House Design began over 22 years ago when we moved from a small cottage to our present home, a large Victorian house. The house not only needed much renovation but also the entire house needed decorating, carpets, curtains, lighting, fixtures and fittings and furniture. It was a huge undertaking and how very fortunate we were to find Ashton House Design! With their professional, organised yet understated approach, their vision, knowledge and expertise, they were the perfect interior designers for us. They totally reflected and created the look and feel we were wanting in our home and continue to enjoy all these years later. We’ve had a few ‘refreshers and updates’ over the years, the most recent project being the year before last. We can’t recommend Ashton House Design highly enough and we look forward to continuing our most enjoyable relationship with them for many more years to come.

Last year I a bought a large house in Devon, initially to use as a place to escape at the weekend, but with the long term view of retiring there. Builders were appointed, but I also needed an interior designer to help me get the look and feel I wanted. Ashton House Design came highly recommended and after meeting them and looking around their design studio, I felt inspired and happily appointed them. In the past I had experiences of designers trying to impose their views, but early on it was apparent that they listened attentively, and subsequently brought forward suggestions in keeping with my tastes, and the setting of the house. Despite me being several hours away from the site, the communication between us was excellent, especially when integrating and liaising with the builder, and keeping me up to date with progress. It was extremely reassuring to see how their in house team and suppliers were integrated to be able to bring the project in on time and budget. Not only have they delivered an outstanding design for my home – with some really “stand-out” features – but they have made a rather daunting process most enjoyable and free from stress.”

Ashton House were fantastic all round - both creative & practical, they've created a beautiful space for us that looks lovely and also functions very well as a home. We also found them great to work with during the process - they made it all extremely smooth, and assisted with not just the design, but pulling it all together and making it work. We will certainly be doing any future projects with them. Very highly recommended!
