When moving from London to Cambridge, and into a larger property, we worked with Aspinall Interiors in a consultancy capacity on design ideas, furniture and layout for our new home. I loved how Christopher listened carefully to provide solutions that matched our aesthetic brief and budget, but was equally great at suggesting alternatives that also worked with our living spaces to develop an even more exciting dynamic.

Christopher at Aspinall Interiors worked in parallel with my chosen architects on the finer aesthetic details and decoration of my house whilst it was undergoing total renovation. He advised me throughout the process on colour palettes, lighting, upholstery, furniture, joinery and decorative elements. He was constructive in his feedback and helped find alternative options and solutions when they were needed. The end result was a coherent and brilliant blend between the structural changes the architects made and the final decorative decisions

I had more or less finalised what I wanted to do to my penthouse flat in North London. I really wanted to include some finishing touches but I was exhausted from all the decisions I'd had to make and felt overwhelmed and unable to focus. Aspinall Interiors were fantastic at helping me pull together final details so that my home really bore my signature. Christopher listened intently to all my ramblings and immediately understood my references. I felt totally at ease with him and found his taste levels to be superlative. He presented me with a range of finishing details that I never would have been able to summon up left to my own devices. I came to rely on him for advice about colours, lighting, atmosphere and practicalities. I'm so thrilled by the results, my home truly feels like my own and I'm not sure I would have got to this point without the guidance of Christopher.

I cannot recommend this firm highly enough. Aspinall Interiors helped us with our N London home renovation across 20/21. Not only is Christopher exceptionally charming, he has exquisite taste. Nothing was too much trouble, from sourcing a particular fabric that my husband was obsessed with to liaising with our architects who were probably not the easiest to handle! I was particularly impressed by the fact that he was able to guide us to make some bolder choices with colour and decor that we were resistant to at first but now love. I also appreciated that he didn't force us into a 'look' and took the time to get to understand us and our aesthetic in order to craft a home that is both peaceful and restorative with flashes of fun.

Working with Christopher was a fantastic experience. Not only does he have incredible taste, but a wide ranging knowledge of different aesthetics and interior design styles and can work to and ultimately improve upon any brief. He came up with great creative ideas and everything he suggested has ended up looking incredible in situ. He was also a delight to work with from start to finish - incredibly professional and charming. It was a great experience, I couldn't recommend him more highly!

Christopher responded to the brief for our Victorian Schoolhouse conversion with care and creativity - delivering a stunning colour palette, which both complements and enhances the period features of our home whilst retaining the contemporary, family feel we were looking for. From the lampshades to the wallpaper, and the bathroom blinds to the bookshelves - each item is carefully sourced, with an eye on both sustainability and budget. Christopher is both a pleasure to work with, and an instinctive and creative designer. Highly recommended.
