I recently had the pleasure of working with this interior designer who beautifully remodeled my child's room with a sloping ceiling. I was amazed at how she managed to turn the challenging space into a functional and aesthetically pleasing room that all of my children love. What impressed me most about Babette was her use of color to give each child their own distinct space. She used a neutral color palette for the walls and ceiling, which helped to create a cohesive look, but then added pops of color with carefully chosen furniture and accessories. My daughter's side of the room has a pink and purple color scheme, while my two son's side features blue and green accents. This not only helps to give each child their own space but also adds visual interest to the room. Babette also did an excellent job of using furniture to demarcate the space. She used a bunk bed that not only maximizes the use of space but also creates a clear divide between the two sides of the room. She also added a bookshelf and storage unit on each side, which not only provides much-needed storage space but also helps to visually separate the two areas. Overall, I am thrilled with the work that Babette did on my child's room. She managed to transform a difficult space into a functional and beautiful room that all of my children love spending time in. Her use of color and furniture to demarcate the space was particularly impressive and really helped to create a sense of ownership for each child. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to remodel their child's room or any other space in their home.

Babette's fresh perspective, positivity and enthusiasm were just what I needed to get my project off the ground. She was responsive, clear and full of ideas, both for the design of the rooms and the furnishings. Babette quickly understood our requirements and preferred style, and came up with elegant, yet practical solutions, to bring our rooms up to date with our changing family needs. The renovation work has much improved the utility of the space, as well as greatly enhancing its overall appearance.

Babette worked with us to transform our rather ‘tired’ kitchen and dining room. The overall brief was to introduce more light, both aesthetically and physically into the space with a Scandanavian feel to match the rest of our home. This was achieved through the use of Crittal doors and windows, opening up wall space and adding shelves to achieve more ‘through light’ from the kitchen to the dining room and the use of light oak and white Fenix for the kitchen cupboards. Babette had some great ideas for the colour scheme, suggesting the use of a Farrow Ball green for the dining room cabinetry to connect the space with the greenery leading out onto the patio garden. She convinced me to put a rug under our dining room table to reduce the echo in the room due to the limestone floor and it has introduced a lovely warmth and homeliness to the space. Babette has great ideas on how to reconfigure space using her architectural background and a natural ability to develop colour ideas which she matches to the homeowner’s temperament, their vision of how the space will be used and what sort of mood they want to create. She gave us fresh inspiration and helped us look at our kitchen and dining room, which are the heart and soul of our house, from a different perspective. Babette is great on detail and ideas and really understands how families need to adapt their space to get more functionality.
