We used Bric interiors to manage the refurbishment of our new Restaurant eòrna in Stockbridge, Edinburgh. We found the experience to be entirely positive from the moment we began the conversation. Bally Taylor (Bric's owner) and Marni who led the work were just amazing to be around - they were absolutely filled with ideas on style and materials which we could never have come up with, but also took guidance to make sure they delivered something we would love. They communicated everything they were working on in real time, so we felt like we were always aware of our timescale and budget. They managed a wide variety of different contractors with different specialities in order to have the works all take place at the correct time, and achieved the entire job on schedule in a much shorter timeline than would have been ideal! We can't recommend them enough, and will certainly be using them for any further works we will undertake at the Restaurant.

We enjoyed working with Bally and the team at BRIC. They spent a lot of time with us, ensuring at each stage we were 100% happy with the design, challenging us (in a positive way!) and giving us confidence to go out-with our comfort zone with textures and wall coverings. The end result is a fabulous drawing room which we love, with individual detail and a very calming effect. We have had plenty of compliments - all thanks to Bally and her team.

I have been working with Bally and the team for over a year as we have had delays with our house build. Bally is helping with interiors for our home. Her knowledge of products and different companies means the house has unusual pieces, which is exactly what we were looking for. Bally has a great eye for detail, the fabrics and wallpapers used are exactly to our taste. The customer service is amazing and nothing is too much hassle. I would recommend BRIC to anyone looking for good quality luxury interiors.

Wonderful service! The quality of fabrics offered, the quality of craftsmanship and the quality of customer service was outstanding on our project. BRIC organised the restoration of some antique chairs that had seen better days - they delivered on time to an excellent quality and our room has been transformed! Bally’s subsequent style advice has been thoughtful and considered. Would definitely recommend.

Having worked with various interior designers in the past and not always having had a positive experience, working with Bally/BRIC has been a breath of fresh air and a very enjoyable process. Whilst we have a keen interest in the design process and had some clear ideas, BRIC really helped to bring these to life through both the design process and through the practical aspects with an end result that we are delighted with. The design process was fantastic in that the team from BRIC used both mood boards and visual images of the 4 rooms that they helped us design. Being able to see the ‘end product’ using their design software really helped us to visualise the end product. Whilst they incorporated elements that we would never have thought of, they were also very flexible and adaptable, making some great suggestions and pushing us in some areas, but never in a ‘pushy’ way. One of the huge benefits of working with BRIC was that it removed the stress element of the project as well as avoiding costly mistakes, which we have made in the past. Bally’s ongoing involvement throughout the project, including through all stages of the installation process has meant that we have got to know Bally well and will be very sorry not to have a reason for her to be popping in on a regular basis! We would wholeheartedly recommend Bally and BRIC. The end product contains unique elements and is of the highest quality, with a clear ‘Wow’ factor.

Commissioned a large, curved sofa and two armchairs for living room. The process was superbly managed throughout and the advice and guidance given as we worked through the design was particularly impressive. NB: this was particularly important given that we are in London and BRIC are in Edinburgh, so everything was done remotely via phone/email/video call. Bally devoted a lot of time to help us choose the right fabrics, cushion structures, sofa styling, etc and although it required a bit more involvement from us to do the "on-site" work (e.g. measuring the room, taking videos/photos, etc), the end result was truly superb. We were also able to speak with Paul who built the sofa as we progressed, so he could also help advise us on what was possible and what would look best - this was really useful to help us design a sofa that exactly met our needs whilst also being of top quality . Also, as we had a narrow entrance to the room, the sofa had to be constructed so as to fit through the door and then be easily assembled once inside. It was planned that we would do this outrselves, however Paul very kindly drove down with the sofa from Edinburgh to London and assembled it in person - now that really was going above and beyond expectations! In summary, a truly personalised, professional, helpful experience resulting in stunning, custom-made furniture at a very reasonable price. What was also nice was that Bally was always chasing me, never the other way around - we always felt that we were top of her priority list and we know that she really wanted the furniture to be perfect for us.

We were keen to redecorate our living room after moving house and had chosen a colour palate. However, work demands meant it would be a piecemeal project if done ourselves. Having met Bally at one of BRIC’s fun Christmas wreath making evenings, I sought her help. Bally has a real eye and enthusiasm for colours, textures, fabrics and accessories. While keeping to the brief, she encouraged me to look at things I might not otherwise have considered or invested in. Importantly, BRIC introduced craftsmen highly skilled in their areas of cabinet making, blinds, furniture and decoration, all bespoke to the project. Inevitably, in 2021, we hit some bumps in the road but we all retained our sense of humour. The resulting space is as much a relaxing family room as it is a sophisticated entertaining space. Bally and the team at BRIC have been nothing but fantastic since we started working with them last year. We initially only enquired about getting curtains made for our rooms, but quickly realised they had the skills, expertise and knowledge to help us complete our refurbishment project- something we had ambitiously thought we could managed ourselves. Bally spent the time getting to know who we were and how we wanted to live and was patient and respectful of our decision making time - allowing us space to think through what we wanted and was considerate of the need for us to balance other parts of the project work at the same time. All ideas presented to us were well thought through, creative, fresh and modern and most importantly reflected the sense of style we were looking for. This is what we could not have done ourselves and the natural eye for detail, expertise and insight into design we appreciated immensely. All in all, we have always had great service from BRIC, wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them and will be back again!

When I purchased my new home, I was starting from scratch and decided to search for an interior designer who not only would work within my budget and timescale but would understand the vision and concept of my plans and have the ability to integrate these plans with their professional expertise and resources.

After researching various local interior designers, I found BRIC Interiors. I liked Bally from the outset because she listened carefully and understood what I was trying to accomplish while being personable and genuine. Bally and her team were sensitive to my needs and were able to translate my ideas and budget into a realistic plan. The completion date for my property was continually delayed and Bally and her team were able to deal with the complexity of this in a calm, reassuring and professional way. I quickly realised that having a person I could trust and depend on was key to the overall success of the project. 

Bally and her team have excellent taste and resources and they know where to find the right products and materials. BRIC led me in new and different directions that provided beautiful solutions for my home. The skilled workers and subcontractors she works with are first rate and magnificent in their craft and I found them all a pleasure to work with. Bally goes to great lengths to select only the best people to work with and she has built up a warm and genuine relationship with them which comes across when dealing with them. When any issues arose as they always will within these projects, Bally and her team addresses them quickly and effectively. They are always checking with you to make sure you are happy and satisfied with the progress and the product as well as staying within budget. BRIC Interiors is incredibly professional and well organised and this makes for a reassuring journey from start to finish.

Overall I am extremely pleased with the service and expertise provided by BRIC Interiors and I would recommend Bally and her team without hesitation. My home has gradually transformed into a beautiful space, incorporating craftsmanship and choices of outstanding design, materials and color schemes. Bally is a gifted interior designer who has helped me realise my aspirations and has exceeded my expectations while at the same time helping me stay on budget. I consider the hiring of BRIC Interiors as an investment rather than an additional cost.

BRIC totally understood the requirements for the upgrade of our creative studio space. With practical and elegant solutions, they surprised and delighted us in equal measure. The process has been well-managed from start to finish.
