Cocoon and Bauer Interior Design

Jonny and I contacted Peter from Cocoon and Bauer after seeing his work on Instagram. We liked his style and how he dressed and accessorised rooms. We wanted our living room to be stylish but also a room that can be lived in, we wanted to be able to add our own personal items i.e photos and keep sakes and for them to not stand out but to fit in with the decor. A major factor for us was that we wanted our room to feel warm and cosy, a place where you can curl up and relex and that's exactly what we got. The only thing we wanted to remain was our new sofa which Peter used as a starting point for the colour palet for the rest of the furnishings. Peter was in touch with us throught the design period of our room, bouncing ideas backwards and forwards keeping us in the loop. The final results has more than exceeded our expectations. Our living room has a wonderful warming and cosy feel to it even more so when we turn on the lighting used in the bookcase which was custom made for the large alcove. The addition of wall lights and matching pendent was another great idea as we are able to adjust the lighting even more within the room. Adding to that we also have a upholstered footstool which can also be used as a coffee table, further more there are two smaller upholstered footstools which come away from the main footstool and provide additional seating. Our television was also mounted onto our newly extended chimney breast which now houses a very stylish ribbon fire. Cocoon and Bauer were remarkable throught the transformation of our living room and not once did we doubt Peters ideas or vision and nor have we ever regretted choosing to use this company. We would definitely like to use Cocoon and Bauer in the future as we would like to continue to decorate and furnish the rest of our home to the same high quality as our living room.

This is the first time I have ever used an interior design service such as Cocoon and Bauer. Peter and his team took my very vague brief and created a design that I was so impressed with. My bedroom my not be the largest project but he has made it feel spacious yet cosy at the same time. His eye for detail is amazing. His skilled support team all completed their tasks with minimum fuss and excellent results. I would highly recommend Cocoon and Bauer Interior Design to any of my friends and family.
