I’ve been working with Emma for a number of years and she’s a joy to work with. I photograph all her projects and also recently some furniture she designed. Emma is a lovely bright, down to earth lady and we have really enjoyed working with her. The brief was to update our lounge and dining room with a more contemporary feel and injecting colour but our house has beams and leaded light windows as well as a very high ceiling. Along the way Emma definitely listened and she didn’t impose her designs on us but rather worked with us to achieve something individual. We love the result and it definitely fills the brief. Emma also introduced us to some excellent craftspeople who are tried and tested by her which takes the worry out of the whole process. We put a lot of trust in Emma and she didn’t disappoint.

Emma was a delight to work with from start to finish. We loved everything she chose for our new master suite (and all were super quality products) and she really got the brief of boutique hotel chic, while pushing us out of our comfort zone just enough! We’re so happy with the finished rooms, but the only problem now is it shows up the rest of the house!

We gave Emma the brief to make our bedroom feel like a luxe hotel suite and her ideas and final design were fantastic. A bespoke headboard, floor length curtains and a well considered lighting plan were just a few elements I'd never have previously considered and really make a difference to how the room feels professionally 'done.' Emma is super creative and her flair for design is evident from the get go which is very inspiring!

Our new bathroom is amazing. We love everything about it. Partly because Emma knows exactly what to do with a space and how to get the best out of it, partly because she has brilliant taste and partly because she listened to us when we told her what we liked and didn’t like. I love all the ideas that Emma has swirling round in her head and how she turns them in to a reality. Highly recommend!

Emma has been fantastic from the very start of the process. She was creative with the options for a difficult bathroom and has, along with her excellent installer contact, produced the most beautiful room which functions perfectly for my family. Options were given at various price points throughout and she made sourcing additions very simple. I also used her to design a guest bedroom space alongside this and she took time to ensure all the needs of the room were met. We have created a wonderfully relaxing and beautiful room from this. The whole experience was a pleasure and she’s already booked to renovate the master bedroom suite.

We've just moved to the area, and our new home was a blank canvas and it was such an overwhelming task to tackle the whole thing at once. We found Emma and signed up for the consultancy session, and she came round and identified the key areas we could work on first, but also helped us realise what we wanted from the spaces, and how they would work in daily life. After, the consultancy we decided to use Emma to design our kitchen, main bathroom and ensuite. She seemed to know what we liked just from talking with us and came up with bathroom designs like something out of a magazine! The kitchen was always going to be hard to inject style, but she managed to capture the essence of the chic, modern kitchen we wanted, and even went as far to include clever details like niches above our range and moulded architraves to help the cabinets blend seamlessly. We are so impressed with the service and no doubt we'll be back when we move on to tackling the bedrooms!

After purchasing a house in London, I hired Emma to design all the main rooms of the house. Since I was living abroad. I left everything to Emma and my build team and trusted her with choosing everything for the house. When the designs came through I was happy and bought all lights and furniture as suggested. Including getting some built in wardrobes and cabinetry built as per her design. However after wall mouldings and light fixings went in I finally went to visit the house on a trip back and I was shocked. The living room lights were so low that anyone over 5ft 10 would hit their head and they blocked the view of where the TV would be, the bed room lights were also so low that my partner hit his head on them, my room was supposed to have a super king but yet there was not enough space for drawer clearance with the cabinetry etc etc. So many little details that were missed, as if the heights of the ceilings and the dimensions of the rooms were not considered. Emma told me that this wasn’t her job to project manage. And that it was up to someone else to measure the lights etc to ensure that they worked with the space. Although she invoiced me for measuring as part of her design service! That she didn’t provide the depth for the cabinetry, and if it didn’t work then just to make faux non functioning drawers. There was no acknowledgement of her lack of attention to detail or apology for the extra cost now needed to get those elements replaced. What made matters worse was that all this communication about the issues of the house were over email. Emma didn’t return my calls nor respond to my multiple requests to meet at the house to go through with my build team to figure out next steps as the solutions she offered was not practical (eg. Shorten the ceiling lights when the chain was already at a minimum). I’d paid over £20k for design services to someone who only visited the house once, and whom won’t even meet me physically. Such an immense disappointment in the lack of professionalism and care. Absolutely would not recommend, at all. It has honestly been with one of the most disappointing experiences I’ve ever had with house building/design. She invoices with urgency, and once the money is paid she has zero interest. Paid over £20k already and having to now return all the lights fitted (at a huge loss since they have been on the walls and bought months ago) and redo the mouldings. The costs for this are adding up and Emma has at no point even apologised for the issues and added costs. Simply put, her design ideas are not well thought out. For example, we have had to return lights that are a gold colour as they are next to the switches which are all aged brass. They don’t match at all, something you’d expect would be a basic thing for a interior designer to get right. If Emma would at least answer my phone calls to discuss but she continues to avoid me all together. I would strongly urge others to look elsewhere. Avoid at all costs

If in any doubts of your home design or just need that extra confirmation that you are making the right choice then Emma is your go to. She gave us a couple of suggestions that made such an impact on where we landed design wise that it was worth every penny

I had an hour “Help Me I am Stuck” consultation with Emma and it was totally beyond my expectation. I wasn’t entirely sure how much we could achieve within 60 minutes but thought to give a try. Emma researched really well by asking many insight prior. She gave comprehensive recommendations on the best layout, room style, furniture selection and colour scheme. I felt much much more confident now to implement her recommendations by myself. To be the best part of this engagement is that it saved a lot of my time sourcing materials. Emma was also very cost cautious and recommended us products that are good value for money. I’d love to work with her again and refer her to family / friends.

We had a really useful " help I'm suck " session with Emma. We were looking to get ideas of how to layout the front room of our holiday rental that we're renovating . We have a super tight budget but she made us think about lots of different inexpensive elements that could make an impact that we hadn't even thought about like paint colours, gallery walls etc. She gave really practical advice and after the consultation she sent us the recording of the session, which was really helpful as there was loads of advice to take in.

I contacted Emma for budget and design and help getting my renovation project off the ground. She helped me revamp my tired home. My budget was quite tight and she completely stuck to it which I was impressed with. She listened thoroughly to what I wanted to achieve and totally nailed it. Renovating can be stressful and full of surprises. She was always on hand if I needed her and remained calm, available and helpful throughout. It became clear she is very knowledgeable and experienced at what she does and I couldn't recommend her highly enough.

We engaged initially with Emma to help us up level our house for sale, which was particularly challenging both in terms of size and layout. She was super responsive, professional and within a limited timescale delivered great results. We have now brought a family home and Emma has helped us look at the space and work through the phases for the building works and subsequent design. They are a very professional team and a good find. We started the process of our kitchen and bathroom renovation online with Emma during the lockdown in March. We had a small back bedroom we wanted to convert into a bathroom and update the kitchen, Emma was great at suggesting options that were affordable and available as resources were limited. We contacted Emma to help us with the design of our new kitchen diner as we were at a loss to see the best use of space. Emma came out on a consultancy session and worked through how we use the space currently and worked through why it doesn't work for our family life. By the time she had finished we were left with a viable space plan for the architects to draw up, that ticked all our storage needs and hopefully will be a great space for our family now and in the future.

It was a delight working with Emma on the redesign of our ensuite. Neither my partner nor I have any vision when it comes to interior design so were struggling to know how to make the most of the small space, we just knew we wanted it to look fresh and modern. Emma was very patient with us, guiding us through each step of the process providing options that complimented what I liked and what my partner liked, which wasn't easy, as we had different views. She also took the stress away which was a huge relief for us both. So pleased with the end result, it looks amazing, its functional and won't date.

We are going to do an extension next year but wanted to see if it was possible to improve some things before then. I didn't know where to start and Emma helped me to make a plan. My husband and I were looking for someone to help with a new extension to our current house. After meeting two other potential interior designers, Emma was sold to us as soon as we met her! Emma helped us plan a new kitchen, dining and living room, 4 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms. We would have struggled to get through all of this and get anywhere near the inspiration Emma gave us. We worked with Emma on a recent project in KIngswood, Surrey. Emma was charming throughout the whole process and a delight to work. She was attentive and responded quickly whenever we had a query. I came to Emma with a big project in hand and the need for a very quick turnaround and she went above and beyond to deliver. I wanted to work with Emma as her visual style aligned perfectly with my own, I already had an idea in my head of what it was that I wanted to achieve but she truly worked her magic in making that vision a reality within my limited budget, and I would highly recommend her to anyone else.

We worked with Emma on designing and sourcing our kitchen and she was a delight to work with from start to finish. She really educated us on the process and gave us great ideas that were invaluable to us in getting to our final design. The only reason for 4 and not 5 stars was that we ended up a little out of our price range hence we didn't get over the line with the designer that was recommended, but I wouldn't hesitate to work with her again and would encourage anyone else to do so.

We contacted Emma just before Christmas 2018 to help us with our living room and bedroom designs, we were quite tight on time and wanted to maximise the Christmas break. Emma was brilliant at taking our rather vague ideas, pulling everything together into a vision that allowed us to make decisions, fast. We particularly like Emma's flair for colour and really paying attention to what works for the house and for us. She also introduced us to some great suppliers too.

Emma undertook to design and style a shower wet room for us. The finished room was stunning in its look and its feel, and we're absolute delighted. Emma not only delivered a great design but in a totally professional way picked up and owned problems with the suppliers, seeing the project through to a great conclusion. Emma merry styling were a joy to work with, Emma and her team have created the most amazing kitchen - diner for my family. Her colour choices are so in tune with my taste and have created a relaxing vibe to unite to the kitchen to the dining room. My husband and I were looking for a colourful living room, and couldn’t find that Moroccan style. We had been recommend to Emma by a friend and fell in love with her ability to mix up colour. She created a living room plan for us mixing our current traditional furniture with some lovely bright modern furniture. We’re over the mood with how its turned out. I’m not really a review person however I had a bad experience with a pushy designer , when I found Emma It was like talking to a friend at our first meeting, She listened to me bang on about what I didn’t want for 30 minutes just making notes. We then moved on to how i wanted to feel in my new bedroom and I was so at ease. My beautiful new room really does reflect my personality. I cant thank Emma enough for listening to me and creatively drawing out my perfect room. I love it!

I wanted to show my gratitude to Emma for all her hard work on our build project, she carried the design and management with military precision amongst some taxing circumstances. We had an issue with the installers making changes to the design to benefit themselves. Emma spent many additional hours liaising with them to deliver the ensuite we have originally approved. Emma has transformed my kitchen and has been great to work with.
