Interior Therapy

Vickie is exceptional and I could not have completed my project to such a high standard without her help. Vickie made sure that it was very much my project and not just a cookie cutter of her own style. She was there with help and advice, helping me make choices and on occasions making sure I did not make mistakes! Unlike other interior specialists I have worked with previously she has very intuitively understood where my boundaries on expenditure lie and worked with me to get the best possible result from my budget. Often the solution was not the most expensive but with Vickie's help I have got the more expensive look for a fraction of the price. Another skill of Vickie's is her ability to talk and liaise with tradesmen through the project. They all end up saying how rare it is to get a interior designer that has experience of and understands the process as well as doing the design.

Vickie ended up helping us with pretty much the entire house - and I cannot recommend her highly enough. She is so good at what she does; super talented, high quality trade connections, incredibly well organised and reliable. Regardless of the scope or the budget - the end product was always impressive. To top it all off - she is very lovely to work with and made what could have been an overwhelming experience, very enjoyable.

Having bought a period home after living in a modern house previously, we really were are at a loss to know where to start with the renovations and interior design of our new home. A friend recommended Vickie at Interior Therapy to us and instantly we knew we were in great hands. Vickie helped us create a vision for our living room which was sensitive to the period features whilst working with our young family. Vickie was able to give us ideas we would not have thought of on our own with a variety of budget options for us to choose from. We are incredibly happy with the final look and feel of the room and have already commissioned Vickie to help with other rooms in the house.

Vickie is super lovely, responsive and helpful. She has fabulous ideas and just knows what works and looks good together.. She takes time to listen to your needs and comes up with great suggestions. I'm a bit clueless in this area, and was very grateful to Vickie for all her expertise. We're still using Vickie for our downstairs and I'm very relieved to have her guidance as know it'll all come together brilliantly when finished.

When we bought our house, we wanted to transform an old, tired and neglected living room into a warm and cosy family space, but didn’t know where to start! We were so lucky to find Vickie - she is very creative, detail oriented and responsive and really took the time to understand what we were looking for. She was very knowledgeable, thought about the smallest details and was always available to answer any questions we had along the way. We are delighted with the result and the living room is now one of our favourite rooms in the house!

One being a refurbishment of a living area in my care home and the other which was completed more recently, which was an adaptation of a bungalow being turned into a Day Centre and a flat, and also furnishing a gym on that premises. Interior Therapy has helped me transform rooms in my house, always listening to my list of needs and suggesting excellent ideas and workarounds that I would not of dreamed up myself. I love that Vickie tailors her offerings around my requests (which can be awkward), is always happy to help and the communication is excellent, I’m never left wondering where the projects are at.

Vickie has been a pleasure to work with from start to finish. We interviewed a number of interior designers - Vickie was clearly head and shoulders above the rest and she did not fail to deliver. She was quite brilliant at listening to our style and differences of opinion before presenting the perfect middle ground for us as a couple; her eye for colour is quite exceptional. Furthermore, her network of suppliers and tradespeople is superb, and her ability to provide just the right amount of options, whilst not overwhelming us, made it a thoroughly enjoyable process. I cannot recommend Vickie enough. She was brilliant from beginning to end. We started with interior design concepts for our newly extended kitchen diner and ended up getting Vickie to do our family room, entrance hall, guest room, downstairs loo and bathroom! She listened to the conflicting desires of me and my partner and created something that fitted us both. Actually she was as much a mediator as a designer! So happy with the service and have recommend Interior Therapy several times.

I can’t praise Interior Therapy highly enough. We did a BIG job on our house with a loft conversion which mean we also had to redecorate the first floor. I had lots of ideas about what I wanted but lacked the confidence and knowledge to make them a reality - and that’s where Vickie stepped in. She listened and completely understood the style I was after - for example I knew what striped carpet runner I wanted and Vickie was able to tell me what colours to pick out for the walls - I had decided on a main light for the loft bedroom and Vickie sent me options for wall lights to compliment. She was a great sounding board when I wobbled with my decisions - and full of ideas and suggestions when I went blank. She really helped me to enjoy our project and has made our house a stylish warm family home.

I engaged Vickie Nicholls from Interior Therapy to help me renovate a vey tired late 1920s semi-detached house in Epsom, Surrey. The house hadn’t been update for decades and the walls had old wallpaper that had been simply painted over. The light fittings were in the wrong places and the radiators were old. The carpets were worn and dated. Vickie helped me: - choose the right paints for the house to modernise it whilst veined respectful to the period and character of the house - choose the right varnish colour for the floorboards - sourced accessorise the rooms - choose the right tiles for th bathroom and cloakroom - sourced radiators - sourced light fittings and pendants and ceiling roses I am delighted with the work done. The property now takes my breath away each time I walk in. I will work again with Vickie on future projects.
