About Us

Interiors by Gail Alexander is a full-service design studio focused on warm minimalism and sustainable luxury. We believe your home should be a soulful space that reflects your style, whilst enhancing your day-to-day life. Using natural, non-toxic materials, we mix vintage and handmade, with good quality modern design-led pieces. Every detail from furniture and furnishings to the scent of your home is considered, to nurture your senses and improve your sense of wellbeing. After 12 years in London and Sydney, working with high-end fashion brands on their store interiors, advertising, branding, and photoshoots, I turned my creative focus to interior design. Now based in Glasgow, my team and I design residential and commercial spaces for clients across the U.K., offering full-service, design consultancy and, an e-design service.

I was initially nervous about using an interior designer, but I was in a rut about how to completely renovate our living room. I was constantly looking at Pinterest which is a great resource for ideas, but I just couldn't make my mind up. Studio Terre took all the pressure off and allowed me to make informed decisions on my likes and dislikes. Fiona and Gail clearly have incredible experience within interior design and I loved their style from the offset - they were a joy to work with and I can't thank them enough for presenting a fantastic redesign of our Living room and hall. The work has still to commence, but I'm very excited to see the transformation later in the year.

From start to finish Gail showed professionalism and a clear understanding of her brief. I loved her suggestions and ideas She communicated well with the tradesman One item that didn’t go according to plan was very quickly rectified by Gail. She was enthusiastic and always had a smile She responded quickly to messages and requests Even my puppy adored her! Would highly recommend Gail and wouldn’t hesitate to call on her again in the future. My customers are so impressed with my studio and I have definitely seen an increase in my business Thanks again

Studio Terre recently helped us with our living room design and we couldn’t be happier! They understood exactly what we were looking for, and came up with beautiful timeless designs, which are both stylish and practical. We are absolutely thrilled with the end result, it has undoubtedly increased the value of our home making it a solid investment, we would 100% recommend them. Just want to say a HUGE thank you to the team at Studio Terre... from start to competition they were a dream to work with ... and with so many requests that we had they blew us away with a different take on our plans making both rooms more than we thought they could be!! Their ideas and colour palate ideas brought the whole ground floor together. I did not think I could fall in love with my house again... but I did! Thanks so much for all your love, patience and wonderful advice!! X

Fantastic advice from Gail to help stage and design key rooms in our house with the aim of marketing it. We love it all so much that we have decided to stay out to enjoy the transformation. I could not have achieved this without Gail’s help and direction which has prevented previous costly mistakes. Honestly I don't know what we would've done without Gail's expertise, design eye and professionalism! We recently bought our dream home in LA and we brought Gail on to transform the kitchen. Gail's attention to detail and ability to capture everything you asked for and so much more is incredible. I've recommended her to all of my friend's who have been wanting to renovate but couldn't find a trusted source with Gail's expertise's and beautiful design eye until now, we highly recommend her!
