We are absolutely thrilled with the results. Every time I walk through our dining room I am cheered by the lovely yellow wallpaper Jessica found. Our rather tired looking interiors have had a much needed facelift and we are now enjoying living in a more stylish, elegant home. We are so grateful a friend suggested Jessica to us and I have no hesitation in recommending her. Arriving home after a holiday, I used to sweep a critical look around and think “Oh help! There is so much needing to be refurbished here”. Somehow it was all the more obvious after a period of absence. Days trailing around Chelsea Harbour invariably followed. I could usually identify what I didn’t like but really struggled to be confident enough to follow through on what I did like. Overwhelmed, I was going round in circles and began to feel stifled by the project. Help arrived like a reviving breath of fresh air in the form of Jessica Adams. From the moment she walked through the front door with her lovely smile and enthusiasm, I felt a sense of relief. Jessica listened and established quickly that modern classic would suit us and our old house. Over the next few months she guided me along a more focused path to find and choose everything we needed. Jessica brought various schemes for us to consider, bore any early negatives from me stoically, remaining undeterred and determined to find what we would like. Occasionally she successfully encouraged me to venture out of my comfort zone and I am so glad I did, or else our house could have remained looking rather dated and boring. Jessica’s paperwork is good. It is so helpful to be able to envisage the finished result when schemes are well presented with suggestions, photographs and references for everything needed- lamps, rugs, mirrors, picture lights, paint colours etc and all fairly costed. She is remarkably good at choosing just the right shade of paint to set everything off, or at finding a little ditsy print for a lampshade, which will provide a bit of interest but not talk too loudly. In some cases it was a question of redoing a room from scratch. In other rooms she needed to work around some existing elements and create a fresh new look. Jessica understood my belief that we had to marry design with practicality, especially when transforming a former playroom into a TV den for all three generations of our family. Her expertise and contacts saved us so much energy and time and meant we achieved a much more pleasing result than would ever have been reached without her. In addition, having Jessica on board and benefitting from her sense of scale, fresh ideas, and genuine positivity made the project fun again.

We live in a rented 3-bedroom mews house that came lightly furnished. We needed help filling in the gaps and developing a more cohesive, polished look. Jessica did a wonderful job planning each room in the house and integrating the large pieces of the landlord's furniture that can't be removed into her design scheme. In one visit, she completely understood what we were looking to achieve and did a fantastic job working within the constraints that come with a rental. All the pieces she found were within the budget, we said we were comfortable buying from stores such as Zara Home up to OKA. We're so pleased the house now looks like a proper home rather than a rental with the landlord's leftovers. We highly recommend Jessica whether you're looking to spruce up your rental or renovate your entire house. Jessica was a pleasure to work with and has lovely, timeless taste.

Jessica was hired to design a newly constructed outdoor terrace, including a pergola and fire pit seating areas. Five stars does not suffice in her praise—she brought creativity and fantastic insights while maintaining the ability to take into account my specific preferences, from finding furniture and designs to implementing them beautifully. Beyond her knack for design, though, she was always efficient, organized, professional, and accommodating. An absolute pleasure to be around. I was introduced to Jessica by a friend, who was delighted by her service. Our tastes are very different, so I wondered if our meeting would be as successful. YES, it was. Jessica listened to my thoughts and concerns. She asked pertinent questions and was able to make suggestions about reconfiguring a room instantly; which opened up many channels for improvements throughout. I have been delighted by the visual presentations Jessica has provided as tableaus for me to peruse, feed back and then action. I have found it much easier to select from a very limited number of options, rather than being overwhelmed. Her sense of colour, pattern and shape are inspiring. I have enjoyed having my boundaries extended, and appreciated having others curtailed. Jessica has persevered diligently until she has sourced something which is beautiful and appropriate. It was reassuring to know that my budget was respected and adhered to. Jessica has been flexible with her ideas, for example changing the style of lamp when advised it was close to an area where the grandchildren routinely play. Similarly she has incorporated items with sentimental value with empathy into the design. The people who have been commissioned for curtains and upholstery have been easy to liaise with, and are delightful. Their work has been of a very high standard.

We have loved working with Jess on our sitting room and master bedroom - we have used her e-design service. Jess gives such great advice and isn’t afraid to challenge us on why we think we might want certain things that aren’t actually practical, or that are not the best use of space or budget. She listens to what we do and don’t like, and we could honestly have gone with any of the scheme options she put together, without making any changes. She’s proactive and efficient and always keeps me up to date. I’ve never worked with an interior designer before and didn’t know what to expect, but it is so worth it. We now have two floor plans and schemes we absolutely love, and can make confident decisions as we buy individual elements over a few weeks/months, safe in the knowledge that they’ve been thought through by an expert and will definitely work together in the room! We are buying furniture and fabrics from places we would never otherwise have discovered, and which will make our home beautiful and unique. And most importantly we are having great fun with Jess along the way. Thank you Jess!

Jessica has been an invaluable addition to my project so far and I am about to commission her assistance for further rooms in my renovation. Jessica took a great amount of trouble when we first met to understand what I was looking for and how she could custom her service to best suit my needs. She asked detailed questions to understand my style and then offered me a range of schemes, some of which challenged my usual preferences, which is just what I had hoped for.
