Living the Interior

LTI helped us with the layouts and furnishing designs for our front living room. This was made a little more complex as we had to incorporate a lounge area, kids area, dining room area, mini-office, and storage. Happily though, we were more than delighted with the results. Great work and communications.

We moved in to a new build home with no idea where to start and we cannot thank Vickie and Kat enough for the work that they have put in to get our house to where it is now. Vickie and Kat spent time getting to know us, the things we like and don’t like and put together a detailed and specific plan for us moving forward. They gently challenged us on some aspects which we are so glad they did, we were more adventurous than we otherwise would’ve been and as a result the house makes us very happy! Vickie and Kat were really patient and supportive throughout the whole process and were available to catch ups in the interim when we needed to discuss specific queries or ideas. They were understanding and responsive to our feedback and questions throughout. Following our discussions, Vickie and Kat gave us a plan for us to start from and encouraged us to explore our thoughts/feelings around this and make changes as we felt comfortable. This has evolved in to our house feeling like a wonderful blend of their design expertise combined with our ideas and preferences. Vickie and Kat were timely with all communication and very clear about next steps throughout the process, they were respectful and relaxed about us slowly chipping away at plans and bringing ideas to life. We tell everyone that will listen that working with Vickie and Kat was (by a long way) the best thing we did when we moved house. We are delighted with how the house is looking and really grateful for how easy Kat and Vickie made it for us with their design knowledge, research, effort in understanding us, professionalism and general loveliness. We really can’t thank Vickie and Kat enough - our dreary all-grey new build is a thing of the past.

Kat and Vickie did an amazing job of redesigning two of my bedrooms, I went to them with no real ideas or inspiration but told them what I liked and disliked in my home decor. I wanted them to pick everything down to door handles, paint colours and carpet. Both rooms needed completely revamping. I wanted something a bit different to what I would normally go for but nothing to outrageous. They listened and came back to me very quickly with different ideas, taking into consideration the natural lighting of the rooms and end goal. It was wonderful watching what they had put together come to life once I had finally finished decorating the first room. On to the second one and I’m certain I’ll be just as pleased once it’s finished! I would highly recommend their services. Thank you both so much :)

We at blue bee, commissioned Living the Interior to re-style our office, it was your standard magnolia-painted office space and lacked character. Since we are a creative agency we wanted a space that would inspire the team working there and impress clients on their visits to the office. Both Kat and Vickie were highly professional on their visits, quick with their responses whenever we had any questions and came up with a scheme for the office that has transformed the place we work. We couldn't be happier, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them!
