When we decided to build a home bar we were really focussed on working with a business that combined experience with creative design and a high quality bespoke furniture finish We were delighted with Mark and his team from start to finish, from taking a download of our ideas and bringing them to life beyond our expectations in the amazing bar they created.

Domus -Tiles, Stone and Wood

We’ve enjoyed working with Mark Taylor Design for a number of years now, having supplied tiles and wood flooring to many of the amazing design projects they’ve been involved in. Mark and his team have also played a key role in delivering a number of projects across Domus showrooms, including the main reception and bar area at Domus W1, plus a beautiful feature kitchen room set at Domus Battersea. We engage Mark Taylor knowing that he and his team will take a bespoke approach to the challenge. Their creative vision and attention to those small yet important details always proves invaluable. The end results are flawless and consistently offer a refined, tailored solution. They conduct all work with the upmost professionalism, using expert joiners who always complete the work on time. We look forward to working with them on many more projects in future.

Mark fitted my kitchen in my two bed Queen’s Park, London flat. We went for his new more affordable range ‘Method’. The main concern for our flat was that we didn’t have too much space for our kitchen/ lounge area. With the help from Mark and his team we managed to come up with a design that is both beautiful to look at and practical for the space. Our favourite feature is the versatile central island on wheels with a large oak top and breakfast bar. This means our kitchen is perfect for the everyday, when there is just two of us in the flat, but we can also move the island to the side of the room when we want a bit more space for our larger dinner parities. From design to fit it has been an enjoyable and easy process for us. We have had our kitchen for 1 year now and still it puts a smile on our faces in the morning. It’s easy to use and beautiful to look at. Thank you Mark and the team.

We were also grateful that they proved flexible to our timelines and coordinated well with our builders. Even the installation team was great; meticulous, tidy and enjoyable to deal with. We have now had our kitchen nearly 5 years and it still looks superb and functions perfectly. I can highly recommend using MTD.

Commented: What kind of wheels do you recommend and what is the counter weight?Hi. Just a heavy duty castor but depending on the weight of the island will depend on how many you need. Try and distribute the weight evenly. You then need to work out if you want to lock the island....
