About Us

Born and raised on the beautiful Italian Riviera, Michela moved to Dublin in the mid-nineties to continue her career as an interior designer. For more than 15 years she has worked with, and retained, clients in both Ireland and Italy. Michela uses a 360 degree approach, providing consultation and direction throughout the total design process, from architectural planning, to exterior landscape design, and all the stages in between. Michela has a reputation for creating timeless, comfortable and elegant style. She considers both form and function for each individual client's lifestyle needs. Her design philosophy is to combine the finest materials with sophisticated colour schemes, and to use her appreciation and knowledge of antiques and art to reflect her clients’ character and tastes. Michela creates homes that are tailored to each clients, taking in consideration the requirements, context and personal taste of the her clients. Travelling regularly to the UK and Italy inspires Michela’s instinctive curiosity and allows her source unique pieces for her Irish clients. Most of Michela’s business comes from repeat clients or client referrals, which is a testament to her talent and work ethic.

I first worked with Michela 15 years ago when we were doing a full house renovation. Our home lasted the test of time for those 15 years thanks to Michela’s wonderful input so when the time came to refresh some areas she was my first stop. What started out as a smallish job ended up being much larger but Michela guided me through the whole process painlessly. She is very aware of her client’s taste at all times and even though she may see something obvious that might need to be done she lets her client come around to the idea by giving very subtle hints. We are so happy with the results and I know once again we will be unlikely to have to revisit this again for many years. Her contacts in the industry are wonderful too so all the different people we dealt with along the way were extremely professional and their service was excellent. We love our home and this is in large part due to Michela. I could not give her a higher recommendation. Many thanks.

I was very happy with the service provided by Michela during my house renovation. She had wonderful ideas but equally importantly, she took on board the ideas and vision I had for each room. She didn't try to shoe-horn me into a certain style of decor she herself might prefer. I shared vision boards and photos of style ideas that I loved and she very quickly got a feel for the type of aesthetic that appeals to me. She really added a lot of value in helping me choose everything from kitchen, bathroom, tiles to light fixing and paint colours. She was able to source wonderful pieces of furniture that I would never have found myself and arrange the making of stunning curtains, pelmets, head boards etc. Her attention to detail is excellent and I really valued her input on many different aspects of the renovation project.

I would highly recommend Michela as an interior design consultant. She advised me on the furnishings and fittings for my sitting room. She has a warm and friendly manner and I found her very easy to work with the minute I started talking to her. She listened very carefully when I was describing what I was looking for and immediately understood what I wanted. My sitting room is dark and an awkward shape. Michela worked with these issues and turned them into advantages. She explained the reasons for her design and so I was able to source the furniture knowing exactly what I was looking for. The sitting room is now a beautiful, welcoming, restful room, where all the family gravitates to at the end of a hectic day. I think Michela is not only about designing a beautiful looking interior, but also about creating a warm, welcoming home. I’m looking forward to working with her again!
