At Nefarious we focus on being able to create spaces as individual, unique and original as our clients. Which are atmospheric and memorable yet practical and functional. Unique perspective, colour choices and lateral thinking is the foundation in forging the “One Off” backdrop to life experiences specific to each project. One aspect of design which is inherent in all Nefarious project’s is that “The Devil Is in The Detail”, which is a problem-solving attitude, that all design is detailed and considered and how it will affect the look, feel and use of a space. Nefarious Design deliver personal and enjoyable spaces that are functional, fun and unique to each project. We work with an array of budgets, project sizes and durations. If that’s conceptualisation to completion or help with a specific stage in a project. Each is personalised and tailored to the client and is always emphasised to be a joy-full, enjoyable experience.

A huge thank you to Adam and the Nefarious team for leading my home redesign! Adam guided through some bold colour choices for our walls that set the tone for the rest of the design and decoration. They certainly struck the perfect balance between showcasing our personality as a family and making a statement. I get lots of compliments from new guests particular on our adventurous bathrooms! I am looking forward to working with Adam and the team again.

Adam and his team were incredible throughout - we worked together on our vision for the space which they brought to life, resulting in a beautiful and well thought through Master bedroom which was within budget. Really high quality and very helpful designer. Came up with a concept that I hardly changed (despite being quite particular) and worked hard to find appropriately priced materials and furniture to suit my budget. Very hard worker and good attention to detail. Highly recommended.

Adam and his team at Nefarious Design went above beyond when tasked with renovating our Grade 2 listed building from conception to completion . Adam listened to our ideas and thoughts as well as suggested simple yet effective ways to create interest within the spaces such as highlighting architectural features like coving and dado rails. We would recommend Adam and his team due to their strong work ethic and were delighted to see him listed in the top 9 designers to watch in 2024 by sheerluxe, it’s very well deserved! Ava Rothenburg

Adam and team have been exceptional since starting on my home renovation 2 years ago - initially to do 3 rooms in this 250 year old house , but thereafter gave them the whole house project. They have worked Harmoniously with me and incorporated my wishes while providing excellent steer and ideas. The most important thing is that Adam has solved all the problems and gone above and beyond to liaise with architect/engineers/builders to make this less stressful for me. This has turned into a deep renovation and Period Restoration including structural work, repurposing of rooms, replacement of the very old piping & electricals, full heating renewal, restoring Historical features - I wouldn't have been able to do it without Adam's handholding, working at weekends, evenings, going way way above and beyond. I hugely recommend him.
