Rena Barclay Interiors

My project was a renovation and combined restoration of a family home in the heart of historic Savannah. This was a large renovation project from the outset having interiors and related modern conveniences last updated in the 1960s and an accidental electrical fire early in the architectural planning added restoration challenges into the mix. I can't even imagine what might have been had Rena Barclay Interiors not been an integral part of the project team! Rena in particular was involved from the very beginning working seamlessly with both the architect and the builder on countless details for the better part of two years. Without a doubt, the final product was beyond my highest expectation - in particular the window treatments, designed in detail by Rena, as well as the art work we curated together continue to be standouts on first impressions. In a world where choices are endless, I would not think twice about hiring a professional and especially for a project and investment of this scale. A home is an investment over a lifetime and my advice to anyone with an interiors project of any size would be to seek sound professional advice and guidance from the outset. Regardless of the budget, a portion should always be put aside for the professionals as it will serve the home and it's occupants well over the long haul and avoid expensive mistakes along the way. This applies to the interiors as much as any other part of the home and most would be hard pressed to find a more qualified or talented firm than Rena Barclay Interiors.

Rena did an absolutely wonderful job for us when we extended, renovated and decorated throughout our large Victorian village house in West Oxfordshire. Rena was a great support and a pleasure to work with. She had terrific ideas, certainly an eye for detail and great vision. We are absolutely thrilled with the results and indeed our house has since appeared in various interior magazines including Period Homes & Interiors and The English Home. Rena is an excellent interior designer and we can't recommend her more highly.

I am so happy with the way in which Rena approached and carried out the design and implementation of my drawing room interior. My drawing room has been transformed! Rena listens to the client and has a the flair to design and the project management skills to deliver.

Rena Barclay is a pleasure to work with and very organized. She gets the job done, follows through, and sends bills in a timely manner. It's difficult to find these qualities in a talented designer, but Rema has the talent and the business sense. She's absolutely a genius with color and giving your home a timeless look with an updated flair. I love how she mixes antiques with trends and chooses fabrics to compliment all. We are very pleased with our home and so thankful to be fortunate enough to work with such a talented experienced designer!

Rena's eye for detail is second to none. The finishing touches she adds are what turn the rooms in to something special. She always goes the extra mile and spent several days searching for the exact shade of paint colour she wanted to use in our kitchen - she will never settle for second best and that is what makes her work stand out. I cannot recommend her more highly.
