Sonja Bannerman

We have been talking about extending our home for years but never knew where to start. We finally called an architect who produced drawings that we submitted for planning permission. We then felt unsure what to do next until we found Sonja. Sonja took the initial set of technical drawings from the architect and brought them to life. With her amazingly realistic visuals, we could finally get a feel for the size of our space which helped narrow down our endless ideas. We worked with her to find the optimal locations for the kitchen, roof windows, doors, patio doors, sockets, and lights. Sonja attended the meetings with contractors who we had asked to provide quotes. They all offered us something new to ponder and afterwards, Sonja incorporated the best into a new set of plans. These are now going back to the architect so that the technical drawings can be revised to be issued to the contractors. Sonja’s involvement has been invaluable, she has communicated professionally and efficiently with us and the architect and contractors. She explored ideas with us early on and asked us to send her images on rooms and kitchens we liked. She then carried our colour and aesthetic preferences into her visuals. She has given her honest opinion when asked and also respected ours when we disagree. At all times, Sonja has been very straightforward and easy to work with. She is always full of positive enthusiasm for our project which is refreshing and inspiring.

Then service given by Sonja was excellent. We were undecided as to the finish that we required for a bathroom and the visuals that Sonja produced were accurate and allowed us to consider options. She responded very quickly to queries and changes and was very professional. I would have no hesitation in using Sonja again.

We were very fortunate to be introduced to Sonja as we had set our heart on a specific tile/design only to find it was no longer available. Sonja very quickly understood what we wanted to achieve and suggested some alternative options and styles, matching different tiles and colour palettes. This was followed up with a 3D design that allowed us to visualise the space clearly before we decided on our final design. Throughout Sonja aided our decision making by providing updated visuals and suitable alternative options. Her creativity, knowledge and expertise has produced a stunning bathroom, which is above and beyond anything we ever could have envisioned ourselves.
