My Friend Sally

We’ve been extremely pleased with the interior design service Sally has provided. Her communication and ideas are excellent, while keeping within our budget. She encouraged us to make choices slightly outside of our comfort zone and we’re delighted with the end result. She has extremely good knowledge of fabric patterns and paints and made the whole process very easy. We’d happily recommend her!

Sally is a joy to work with. She has wonderful ideas and suggestions whilst listening to what you like. She pays lots of attention to detail and ensures the job is completed on time with regular updates on progress. Wish everything was this easy in life!

Sally has great ideas for what will work well in a room and will adapt to any budget. I have been very pleased with the curtains, upholstery and paint colours she combined for me and will definitely use her again.

To start I had a blank canvas which I thought I could manage ,then bought a suit which did not suit the space and hadn't a clue where to go next. Someone suggested Sally but I thought designers were only for the rich and famous!!! A call to Sally followed by a home visit I realised this was the way forward and affordable. Sally brought fabrics and suggestions and was very generous with her time. Always punctual and enthusiastic she turned the project into an enjoyable experience and gave me confidence. Now I have beautiful room within budget. I would highly recommend Sally, can't sing her praises highly enough.

Interior design can be an enjoyable and exciting project. It can also be a daunting prospect and in my case dreams never put into practice - lots of great ideas and no action. My Friend Sally acted as the sounding board like a true friend would - offering up practical relevant and fun options/alternatives - and providing that much needed boost in confidence to make decisions, take action and ultimately put plans into practice. Sally goes the extra mile and offers those with busy lives and focus elsewhere a level of involvement which ensures delivery of the end product/completed scheme. Sally does not impose her ideas upon her clients but gently guides them through the maze of opportunities to produce highly suitable schemes of enduring appeal which enforces that her services are monies well spent. She's also great fun to work with!

The reason I chose to use My Friend Sally was because initially I couldn't find any curtain fabric to go with my existing suite. The suite had seen little wear so I couldn't justify replacing it. In the end I asked Sally to do the whole room, curtains, lighting, paint, carpet, footstool and chair as I had inherited 1980s anaglypta and patterned carpet. Sally had lots of good ideas and worked to my budget. She offers a lot for her fee and she gave her time freely and nothing was too much trouble. We found some super curtain fabric that went perfectly with my suite and my room has been transformed, I could not have done it with out her or her trade accounts which are fantastic.
