Chevin Designs

As of 1st March 2022 our new kitchen installation by Chevin Designs remains incomplete. Work commenced 1 September 2021 and new kitchen units fitted by 13 September 2021. Everything good - asked for further significant payment ahead of time. Had to wait 6 weeks for fitting of glass splashbacks. First fitting a mess ( wrongly measured, cut, gaps bodged with silicone, affixed to the wall with masking tape, damage to walls and cupboard ). Second fitting 5 weeks later a bigger mess. Agreed 2 December 2021 for initial kitchen fitter to undertake remedial work. 8 weeks later, when quote submitted, Bernie refused to accept as over budget. Offered to undertake a further quote, which would clearly come in on the cheap side. We ran out of patience with Bernie's stalling and are undertaking the remedial work at our own expense. Our money has been taken but we have not received the bespoke service or the dream kitchen promised. We are both O.A.P.s and this has been a nightmare experience.
