We are more than delighted with our new Chisholm kitchen. From the moment we met Jo the whole process towards the finished result has been faultless. Always quick to respond to messages and wonderfully supportive through our changes of mind over details, gently discouraging our more unsuitable ideas and delivering a kitchen that we absolutely love. Jo and Rob also helped us with a superb builder, project manager and kitchen fitter - a great team and we would recommend Chisholm Design 110%.

Sometimes you deal with a company and you just know everything will work out just right. Rob & Jo of Chisholm Design - and their excellent team - created the kitchen of our dreams and we genuinely couldn't be happier. We contacted them - and a few other comparably priced kitchen designers - as we were having our ground floor completely remodelled and moving the kitchen out of a small room and into the main, large open plan room. We didn't really know the dos and don'ts of kitchen design, so wanted someone who could make the best use of the space and advise us on type and number of units, layout, appliances, surfaces, etc, etc. It was quite a daunting task. As soon as we met Rob & Jo we knew we were in good hands and that they were the team we wanted to work with. They really listened to us, took our feedback and produced beautiful layouts and renderings. (The renderings were so accurate that when the kitchen was finally installed it was almost not a surprise as it was precisely what we had agreed upon!) The process from start to finish was expertly handled. We were kept well informed along the way - even including calls when they were on holiday (!). Rob & Jo offered fantastic advice and suggestions and no detail was too small to discuss and agree. We visited the site of an existing customer and met at Stoneworx to agree on kitchen surfaces (we're very happy with a Silestone surface in a suede finish). We had lots of discussions about Appliances - even a discussion on the optimal water temperature for a cup of tea using a boiling tap (90 to 98C according to www.tea.co.uk/) as well as endless chats with Jo about the best rail for tea towels. They were very, very patient! The final step was the fitting, which of course requires a lot of attention to detail. Chisholm Design use a highly skilled, experienced kitchen fitter who was fantastic. Due to the rest of our building work going awry the conditions for fitting were far from ideal, but Lorry persevered and we have a kitchen we literally couldn't be happier with. I have no hesitation in recommending Rob & Jo and their team, and wish them every success in the future - they deserve it wholeheartedly. Thank you Rob & Jo :)

I couldn't recommend Jo, Rob and the team at Chisolm Design highly enough. Jo's calm and creative approach as well as her technical expertise means we have a new kitchen that looks amazing but also functions perfectly - everything is in the right place, right down to the cutlery drawer! The whole team were excellent and delivered everything they promised, and more. Jo was willing to turn her hand to our laundry as well, which I am delighted with. The whole project was managed brilliantly by Katie, as there were additional building works and many trades involved. This took so much of the stress away and was worth its weight in gold. Thank you to everyone involved, I have already recommended you to everyone who has been to visit.

Highly recommend Chisholm Design! We are so happy with the kitchen that they designed, sourced and installed. Jo, Rob and their installers were great to work with, and even when things were not going to plan with other tradesmen on the wider build (nothing to do with Chisholm Design!) they were happy to step in, help out, and offer their expert advice. Could not have asked for more. Considering the high quality of the kitchen units and the amazing service we received this was great value for money too.

Chisholm Design designed and oversaw the transformation of our kitchen and separate dining room to an open plan kitchen-diner. Jo worked and re-worked the plans for us, advised on colour choices and helped us see the potential for the space. We opted for using the Project Manager option (Katie) and would say it was very much worth the money and would highly recommend - when unforeseen things came up she was quick to liaise, find solutions and kept the project on track. All the workmen employed by Chisholm were excellent - the builders, kitchen fitter, decorators, tiler were not only delightful to have in the home but were top-notch at their work. I would advise listening to their advice as they have all worked together on these projects before and hence the design choices, recommendations that were made have all turned out to be right...the way doors should open, the moving of a door to allow for a better flow and use of dead space as a larder, the number of downlights required for the utility etc. Very pleased with the end product and with the quality of the finish achieved.

Jo and Rob were amazing in helping us design our dream kitchen, they were so incredibly helpful and hands on and catered to all of our requirements. The service at Chisholm designs is very personal and Jo and Rob were always available to answer any questions and provide solutions. They also have a great kitchen fitter who we would also highly recommend!

We comprehensively renovated our entire period home from October 2020 to May 2021, so our kitchen was one decision out of many decisions we were making in a seven-to-eight-month timeframe. As part of the renovation process, we created space for a family kitchen, pantry, utility, and laundry. It was a significant purchase to consider and daunting because budgets can so easily spiral when faced with endless choices. We sought products and prices from a few kitchen suppliers but there was something different about the local independent business, Chisholm Designs, and well, the rest is history. From start to finish, working with Jo, Rob, Katie, Lorry (the lovely and thorough installer) and Paul (painter of perfection) has been an extremely positive, enjoyable, and communicative experience. Both Jo and Rob have a quiet, calm demeanour and at no point did we feel sold to, pressured etc. Jo, where possible, presented options and ideas that didn't always benefit their invoice (if you know, you know) and if anything, Jo was pragmatic, realistic and really understood what we needed and that is quite refreshing and welcomed. The process from start to finish was so smooth, even in the uncertainty of Brexit and Covid-19, and that is a credit to Jo, Rob, and their team. They worked so incredibly well with our main contractor. The feeling onsite was remarkably harmonious considering the number of trades that were present most days. Even though some elements of our wishes/design were tricky, we never felt the pressure of that. Jo and Rob presented the solutions and not the problems. That truly is a skill to be thankful for. We thoroughly enjoyed working with Jo and Rob to bring to life our ideas and dreams for the space we had. Even now, we still can't believe that the beautiful, timeless and classic kitchen we created with Jo and Rob, is the kitchen we now enjoy and LOVE every single day. Without a doubt we will always recommend Chisholm Designs to anyone. Without a doubt, if we ever need to or want to create a kitchen etc., we will work with Jo and Rob...because they really do listen, create and manage, to the end, a beautiful, functional space to live in.

We couldn’t have felt or been in safer hands throughout the whole process. Rob and Jo made everything so easy for us from start to finish - including worktops, appliances and fitting. Their attention to detail is second to none and they have been such a pleasure to work with - all smiles and so patient with our endless questions! Our kitchen is complimented daily by friends and loved by us!

From the very start of our kitchen/Utility/Boot room project to putting a pan on our hob for the first time, Chisolm design have been exceptional. Our dated & problematic Galley Kitchen has been completely transformed, creating a fabulous space to Cook, Entertain & Relax.
