Our motto at countryside is ‘if it can be drawn, it can be made’. Any size or shape of furniture can be commissioned, exactly the way you envision. We work with quality woods from sustainable sources. Oak, maple, pine, walnut, beech and our popular hand-painted Shaker range produced from tulip wood. Every Countryside Kitchen is designed and tailor built specifically to our client’s vision, and it’s our mission to bring that vision to life. I recently had the unfortunate experience of hiring Countryside to refurbish my kitchen, and I have to say that I am deeply disappointed with their services. From start to finish, my interaction with them left much to be desired, and I regret choosing them for my project. First and foremost, their customer service was abysmal. Trying to get in touch with them was a constant challenge, as my calls and emails often went unanswered for days. When I did manage to reach someone, they were unprofessional and lacked basic knowledge about their own services. Furthermore, the quality of their workmanship was far below my expectations. The backsplash was unevenly installed, the plumbing was faulty, and the fixtures were not properly installed. I had to repeatedly point out these issues, which only resulted in delays and frustration. What was initially promised as a two week job ended up stretching into 2 months of inconvenience and disruption. This disregard for deadlines and failure to manage their time effectively showcased their lack of professionalism. Lastly, their pricing was unreasonably high for the poor quality of work they delivered. It is disappointing to invest a significant amount of money into a project, only to be met with such disappointment. In conclusion, I would strongly advise against using Countryside. Their customer service was lacking, their workmanship was substandard, they failed to meet deadlines, and their pricing was unreasonably high. Save yourself the frustration and look for a more reliable and competent company that will provide the level of service you deserve.

Being available to answer all manner of queries in a timely and efficient manner is a big part of our success. If we got this wrong, quite simply we would not be here today!

As a manufacturer of our own cabinets we take our quality very seriously https://www.countrysidekitchens.co.uk/the-workshop/ gives an outline of the manufacturing process. We encourage clients to visit us to see their actual cabinets being made.

A handmade kitchen is not the cheapest solution. When comparing bulk with bespoke it’s worth thinking very carefully about the total cost involved and the cost of ownership. In terms of the investment you are making in your home and your family, over the years your handmade kitchen will return your investment not only in quality of life, but also by adding real value to your home.

Commented: This or that - wooden floors or carpet?Rustic wooden oak any day with a rug in front of the fire. Plus if its rustic and an oiled floor you don't need to worry about scratching!
