We spent a long time looking around for a quality kitchen and it was by chance we found KAW kitchens.After a lot of visits we decided on the kitchen we wanted. The staff were very helpful , measured up and designed our kitchen. Gemma was very clued up on the appliences.The workers were very clean and tidy.These included plumber , plasterer and electrician. I must give special appreciation to the fitter for his precise sence to detail. We would fully recommend this team. Paul & Carolyn

I had been putting off getting a kitchen because all the big firms I’d been to had been putting on the pressure to commit quickly and had been messing me around with things like cost and hidden charges - buying a kitchen is a big deal and I didn’t want to be strong-armed into anything. KAW came highly recommended by a friend who’d had not one kitchen, plus later a utility room from them, but a third room - a kitchen for a family member from KAW - and spoke just as highly of them after the third investment! Even though they were quite a way away from me I went to have a look and, sure enough, from the minute I went to visit them and met Gemma for the first time, the feel was different and everything was going to be much easier and more trustworthy. This company takes care of everything for you - no need to source extras in the way of fittings or tradespeople. They project manage the whole thing so you have basically one main point of contact for everything and you can be confident in getting genuinely good quality customer service. Gemma is amazingly patient and you can get things decided as quickly as you like or with more deliberation if that’s how you want to do it - I had about 4 consultations before deciding fully on the specs. They fit around your time schedule and your day-to-day life. She makes some confident suggestions when asked which I’m glad I went with but if you feel strongly about something she and Kevin can make that work too - it’s more relaxed and you have time to think. You know where you’re going to be with costings from the start - Gemma is pretty accurate with projections so you don’t need to fear any sudden shocks. Onto the kitchen itself - I’m really happy with it! I went for a very pale green with a wood-look laminate top and it’s lovely! Kevin is on hand throughout the build to check on things which gives you confidence that someone has your back and Craig the kitchen fitter was so good: confident when advising and finished the work beautifully. Ultimately these people are coming into your house while you might be working and I felt happy that my house and kitchen were in good, trustworthy hands. A couple of things I learnt from choosing the kitchen: you can never have too many drawers or electric sockets, and an upstand looks really nice. I had a particular, slightly awkward request for the extractor fan and although it was a bit difficult to find, Gemma managed it and was willing to hunt around to get the right one. Know what you want to prioritise - for me it was worktop space. It’s nice that KAW have quite an intimate space as you can wander round their kitchens as you make your choices, deciding what would work for you and what you would like to be different. All in all, this was a good experience and I have already been recommending them to others I know; if I ever again need a kitchen or utility room I’ll be going back!

I can’t praise KAW enough. From start to finish the service has been outstanding. They are professionalism personified. Kevin the owner is a breath of fresh air. Hands on, he was in constant contact with me to ensure that everything was going according to plan and to my satisfaction. He regularly visited to check on progress.Notwithstanding this customer focused service, there is one person in particular that needs special mention - Gemma. Gemma is the first point of contact with KAW. She then guides you throughout the project from CAD design, through product choice and tradesmen and materials coordination. Her attention to detail is faultless, her memory phenomenal but from my perspective it was her patience that was outstanding. I was one of those customers who could never decide on colour, design or appliance & regularly changed my mind, even when I was confident that I had made a definite choice. The tradesman that they used were brilliant. Not only were they superb at their job but they always turned up when they were scheduled to, did the work that you were expecting to an exceptional standard and always cleaned up after themselves. They were also amenable to change (you get some idea of what I was like) and although always professional, they were great fun to have around. The kitchen units KAW supply are of a very high standard, with lots of colours and designs to choose from. Friends and family comment on how stylish the kitchen looks. Kitchens are the hub of the house and if you want a good experience, excellent service and faultless outcome then choose KAW I for one am so pleased that I chose them.

We are delighted with our new kitchen, which is a Mereway Shaker design. We had spoken to designers at several other retailers, before visiting the KAW showroom. Once there, we were very impressed by Gemma: her knowledge and enthusiasm. Compared to previous designers we had spoken with, Gemma and Kevin were very proactive in coming up with new ideas for how to make our kitchen look good and function well. We were given plenty of time and information, so that we could choose just what we wanted. They were very patient! We felt confident that we knew what we were getting, and why, how much it would cost and when the various stages of the process would happen. Craig, the fitter, is a real craftsman and likes his work to be just perfect – he also works very quickly! We were happy also with the work done by Gary the electrician and Lee the plasterer. The cabinetry arrived from Mereway in good condition, just short of a few items, like some drawers, at first. But Kevin and Gemma soon got them delivered too. Kevin popped in several times, to make sure that the work was going well. It’s very helpful that KAW coordinate all the trades that you need, including getting the measuring and the fitting of the work-surfaces done at the right time (Corian work-surfaces, in our case). We are happy with our new Neff appliances, so far. The work cost just what we had expected, with no hidden extras. Friends had told us that we would find it very stressful, getting our kitchen gutted and a new one fitted, but we enjoyed the whole process!

From initial design meeting to completion KAW have been exemplary. Gemma had the vision (& patience) to produce the design & help us choose from the myriad of options. Craig is a skilled craftsman with an eye for detail who went above & beyond to ensure the installation was perfect, whilst Kev ensured everything was coordinated & ran to plan. We would definitely recommend KAW.

KAW are a local company who have a team of local kitchen installers, we looked around for a long while until we settled on KAW. There kitchen units and installers are second to none they provide the best quality units I've ever seen, and the workmanship of the installers where totally professional nothing is too much trouble and they can solve any problems without fuss. The design process was enjoyable and pleasant Gemma certainly knows her stuff. Offering advice and covering all the details. Kevin was always available from measuring through to completion he kept a close eye on the progress and made sure we as a customer received everything we asked for and was completely happy. Thank you KAW we where completely satisfied and would highly recommend KAW and will be using them again. Looking forward to our next project hopefully very shortly.

We stumbled on KAW completely by accident, and really pleased that we did. We were welcomed into the showroom by Gemma and shown all the products and possible options. There was no hard sell, just simply giving us all the options tailoring it to our needs and budget. Kevin came out to the house and measured and during the fitting was out most days checking that the fitters, plasterer and electrician had everything they needed and were all right. Everyone was professional and have all done a good job. They were always respectful of the rest of the house and I was never concerned to leave them the keys and lock up if I needed to go to work. The work was always completed on time and even when one of the fitters have to self isolate, they managed to come up with a solution and still finish as scheduled. It’s hard to go without a kitchen for a few weeks, but it was well worth it. The kitchen is wonderful. We love our granite worktops, the cupboards are really well made. The induction hob took us a couple of days to master, burning mushrooms and beans to the bottom of a pan, as it heats so quickly and efficiently and the double ovens are just a joy to use. We choose to have a Quooker tap fitted and it’s so lovely to walk into the kitchen and make a drink without having to wait for the kettle to boil. KAW finished as planned just before Christmas allowing us to host a number of dinner parties for family and friends. We have never spent so much time together in the kitchen and has become a NY resolution to do more cooking from raw ingredients rather than opening jars. The kitchen has become our favourite room.

We have had the job that we agreed upon and expected completed to the highest standards. We were kept informed on costs, programme and dates in a very professional manner throughout and are very happy with the design process, the end product and the on site skills, manner and performance of all of the companies representatives. we have no hesitation in recommending our experience to others!

I went to a couple of kitchen companies to obtain ideas and costs prior to committing to KAW. They impressed by the way they worked with me to develop the scheme to change my small kitchen and dining area into a more useable space. The design process to envision the finished kitchen is challenging, especially when looking at colours and samples on a small scale and in isolation, but the software they use and the patient process of going through choices makes it easier. I was able to make some last minute choices - particularly relating to handles - which helped. The work included everything but the decoration and the way they work is on a 'turnkey' basis so you pay the actual cost plus a set overhead and profit percentage. So you know there is no hidden charges or contingency included. Overall the project cost slightly less than the budget, which was nice. All of the trades' people they used were good and accommodating. A special shout out for Craig the kitchen fitter who did a very good job and also included making me two doors for an existing fixed cupboard. Generally the work ran to detailed pre-provided programme, although there was an issue of a missing door from the supplier and some missing hinges which did delay final completion. I've been using the kitchen for a couple of weeks now and it's very much lived up to expectation. Thanks to the KAW team.

From the moment we stepped into the KAW premises, we were completely taken care of from that point up until completion. I have to say that having never invested in our property like this before was a bit scarey to say the least and a big investment for our family. We needn’t have worried. Gemma worked with us on our budget and throughout the whole project kept us informed and on target. Everything was taken care of, and I mean everything. Little things like the skip hire, the schedule, all the costings like the electric and plumbing where all done for us. And Gemma is an absolute perfectionist down to the last detail. We actually came in under budget which was even more wonderful. The tradesmen they use are fantastic and Craig who is the fitter is incredible and attention to detail are second to none. Nothing was too much trouble and we and we we’re always involved in any decisions or changes. We had a wall knocked down to combine a dining and kitchen area and the results are incredible. KAW have given us confidence in investing in our home and I would recommend them to anyone considering a kitchen refurbishment. I could not fault them.
