About Us

Hi, I’m Mario, the owner of MZ Carpentry; an Eastbourne based carpentry, joinery and construction company. At MZ Carpentry we work with; homeowners, property developers, construction companies, commercial contractors and architects. We are happy to undertake larger projects but no job is too small! At MZ Carpentry we are passionate about wood, we don’t believe in making wood look simply good, it must look beautiful. But it must always be beautifully functional too. And that’s what we offer; wood that works on every level for you. Our furniture and fixtures are affordable, elegant and graceful, yet, they do the job for which you need them just as beautifully as they look and feel. Please send us a message! Mario replaced our garden shed door and surround. Was very courteous, tidy and worked hard to complete the job. I would definitely use his services again.

Mario is brilliant!! Would definitely recommend his services to anyone out there. We had a good vision of what we wanted and a budget in mind. Mario delivered on all levels. He works fast but with great attention to detail. All the work done is strong and well put together. Even with the flexibility of self adjustable shelves. Would highly recommend and we will be using his services again!

It is such a pleasure to have someone like Mario carry out work for us. He was prompt, clean and attentive to our requirements. The wardrobes for each room are perfect in every way. He constantly checked that what was required was being executed.

I first used MZ Carpentry about 6 years ago when Maria made a great set of fitted wardrobes. I recently needed another fitted wardrobe and went back to MZ. Mario is a fantastic craftsman. He and his team clear up after every days work. They are professional and the wardrobes are superb. I have no hesitation recommending Marie and MZ Carpentry for any carpentry work around your home or business.

The work was of very high quality. Mario and his colleague were courteous and tidied up so the place was tidier than when they arrived! The shelves look fantastic. I recommend MZ Carpentry highly.

Repairing/replacing roof tiles and wood on large summer house including decking. Plus 2 coats paint. Thomas (Mario’s employee) carried out the work under Mario’s supervision. Both Mario and Thomas are very conscientious, polite and a pleasure to do business with. The work was completed to a high standard. I highly recommend this company. Mario previously did some work for us building a bookcase on our landing above the stairs. He is a very skilled carpenter and a great workman. This is why we used him for the work on the summer house.

Really pleased with the work which Mario carried out for us. The new internal doors look lovely. He's done a great job. Our house doesn't have the straightest doorways and he's made everything fit really well and look good. I would highly recommend Mario.

MZ Carpentry did a fantastic job plasterboarding our hallway ceiling. It is incredibly neat and tidy and just looks beautiful. They are really hard working and communication is excellent. Very professional and trustworthy. They also boarded our loft and fitted a wooden loft ladder which also looks amazing. And have fixed our old wooden stairs. We love all the work that they've done for us. I would definitely recommend them to others and have done already! We will be using them again as we know they do a brilliant job. They're very friendly, tidy and work really hard too. Thank you!!!

Mario has done work for us both inside and outside. He is very courteous, punctual, tidy and has a good eye for detail. He takes care in doing an excellent job. He has hung doors and made a bespoke decking area for us. No hesitation in recommending.
