AREA

AREA was established in 2006 by Chartered Landscape Architects Max Norman and Charlotte Martin, who met in London after working in Hong Kong, Japan, Sweden, The Netherlands and the Middle East. AREA are working across a wide variety of sectors, settings and scales including social and private housing, public parks, squares and streets, ‘deck landscapes’ from roof top courtyard gardens to large scale sections of elevated public realm, health care projects including elderly care and hospices, and in the education sector. We have also recently completed a number of Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments and designed and built a low energy house and garden in the Suffolk Coasts and Heaths AONB.
