Jackie is a truly outstanding garden designer. She is a pleasure to work with taking the stress out of doing a garden and completing the job to the highest standard. I would definitely recommend her for any project that needs a highly professional and beautiful finish.

Jackie has designed and project managed the recreation of our back garden. She was full of ideas but equally careful in combining ours too. She pushed us to be brave and I am so glad she did because it’s transformed what we had before! This is just phase 1 of what we hope will now be two further phases of work. We can not recommend her highly enough.

Thank you Jackie for all your hard work in designing and landscaping our garden, it is now a beautiful oasis we can enjoy all seasons round. The planting is perfect with new colours appearing every day, my favourite are the screens of envy which brings everything together. We look forward to it maturing and coming to life.

Jackie and her team have totally transformed our awkward, unusable, downward-sloping garden into a beautiful, flowing space that we can enjoy being in. Jackie took care to understand what we were looking for in our new garden, and to incorporate these elements into the design. The build was a surprisingly stress-free process, thanks to the extremely hard-working builders, and the way they and Jackie came up with ideas and made adaptations to deal with the inevitable curve balls. The planting scheme of well-chosen and positioned plants tops it all off. We are delighted with the result and would have no hesitation recommending Jackie and her friendly and professional team.

The project involved developing a garden redesign, hard landscaping and planting. Throughout the project Jackie and her team clearly explained our options, costs and the timeframes to expect. These were adhered to. Our ideas were listened to and translated into a design and planting scheme that chimed closely with these and went far beyond what we could have imagined ourselves. Jackie’s team and the hard landscaping teams that she worked with were professional throughout consulting us where needed to translate the plan into reality. A care plan for all the plants used provides invaluable information to help us to continue caring for the garden. We would not hesitate in recommending her and her team.

Great design - reflected our aims totally. Landscaping work completed very promptly and to a very high standard and on budget. Everyone involved was very helpful, friendly and approachable. All round very knowledgable and professional.

Jackie designed and project managed the transformation of my overgrown garden wasteland into a relaxing environment I can actually enjoy. Nothing was too much trouble, designs were adapted and changed along the way and even on site. The finished garden has bedded in well, even after the early summer heatwave, and the rear of the house has never had so much natural light and I have been here 26 years. It's a pity I don't have another garden to work on. Highly recommended.

We love our modern low maintenance garden. Jackie listened to our preferences and did a great job of totally transforming our garden from neglected, dark and overgrown to - terraced, modern and totally unique. and we now have the pleasure of enjoying it for real. the team who work with Jackie on the build and the planting are hard working, reliable & went the extra mile (and they are very tidy). I can't recommend Jackie and her team enough - you get a really personal service because they want you to be happy.

Jackie designed our patio and managed the build. She and her colleague spent a good deal of time with us to understand what we wanted for the design and she gave us options. This was very helpful and supported our decision making. When we agreed on the final design, she drew up the plans with a great deal of details which her builder used. All snagging was immediately dealt with without quibble. The builders were a pleasure to deal with and Jackie remained in contact at all times. We would not hisitate to recommend her.

Jackie's brief was to provide a design for our garden that would stay true to the natural surroundings, woodland on three sides and fields on the fourth, but enhance the property. She fulfilled this brilliantly. There was quite a large amount of hard landscaping, new patio, courtyard and path to a granny annexe, not to mention 40 metres of gabions that were needed to stop the erosion of the bank of a pond; and we opted to use Jackie's suggested builders who were marvellous and whom I cannot recommend highly enough. The planting (and there was a lot of it), was done by Jackie and her team with great attention to detail and skill. All we have to do now is wait for everything to grow! Can you tell I'm pleased!

Having never used a garden designer before we didn't know what to expect but we liked the flexibility that Jackie offered. She listened patiently to our criteria and then came up with 3 different designs for our long and narrow back garden. The most difficult part of the whole process was deciding which design to choose as we really liked all of them! Jackie helped us to work within our budget by giving different options of things we could add in or leave out. Initially we thought we might do some of the implementation ourselves but we're glad that we chose to let Jackie and her team do all the implementation and planting as the work has been completed to a very high standard that we could not have achieved ourselves. One of the reasons why we chose Jackie was that we had seen some of the gardens in Wheathampstead that she had transformed and we loved all the planting that she had chosen. We were not disappointed! Jackie's skill at choosing and positioning plants is just amazing. However, we now realise that garden design is not just about the plants, it relies on getting the overall structure right and again, Jackie has a real talent for doing this. Thanks to Jackie we now use our garden much more and much more effectively than before as well as now having a beautiful view to look out on. Her skill as a designer has meant that the garden no longer looks long and narrow but actually appears to be much larger and wider than before. We couldn't be happier with the transformation she has achieved for us.

Jackie has now done two gardens for us over the past 11 years. The first one was to create a Walled Garden from scratch ie building walls, archways etc., at a Grade II listed farm house, with lots of cottage type flowers and climbers giving interest all the year round. This was especially important as there were two pairs of large French Windows from which we could see the garden 24/7. In addition to this a few years later, we asked Jackie to re-invigorate with new plants, the front garden where our daughter was having her wedding. It looked absolutely stunning! Recently, we've moved to a new build, single storey modern house which is very exposed. I had no idea whatsoever what I wanted at all as my thing is cottage gardens. Somehow or other Jackie has come up with fabulous design for the front and back gardens, and although there's a framework of evergreens, somehow or other she's managed to incorporate my love of cottage garden plants. The bulbs are beginning to appear, and I can't wait to see how things progress as the spring and summer arrives. I'll be getting her back to do another phase too.
