Jeremy Needham Garden Designs

We engaged Jeremy to re-design our back garden which was essentially a large lawn surrounded by borders and we are absolutely delighted with the transformation and end result. Jeremy was a pleasure to work with and his communication was fantastic throughout the project. At the front end he spent a lot of time to understand our needs and design preferences and throughout the 6 month project he worked very closely with the contractor (an excellent company introduced by Jeremy) and he was always available to come and discuss changes with us or with the contractor. We are in a coastal location where winds and salt air make life difficult and Jeremy's excellent plant knowledge ensured that the planting scheme was suitable for our sandy soil and exposed location. Overall he achieved an outstanding result and we would highly recommend him to anyone looking for inspiration or those with clear ideas who need help with refinement and detail.

Jeremy planned and designed my garden from a very specific brief I supplied. He provided detailed plans for the hard landscaping and the planting designs. He then supplied a variety of trusted contractors for me to select from to complete the work. Jeremy was polite, friendly, approachable and always prompt to respond to any queries, including some last minute designs changes! I am delighted with the result of my garden and I would have no hesitation in recommending his garden design service. He is extremely knowledgable in his field and it was a pleasure to work with him on this project!

I selected Jeremy Needham to redesign the garden of our house which was built in 1935. Jeremy visited us to discuss our needs for the garden, understand our preferences and take measurements and photographs. He then provided some preliminary designs to allow us to decide to proceed to the full design of the landscaping and planting. He was very professional in his approach, consulting frequently and very flexible to consider late design changes. He provided detailed plans, specifications and planting lists, working within our agreed budget. He also recommended several landscape companies to approach for estimates. We selected one and were very pleased with the work. Jeremy visited during the work to check that it was being carried out to plan. Jeremy has visited us each year to check that the plants were maturing and to give us advice. He is highly qualified, very personable, knowledgable and produces high quality work on time. I can highly recommend him for garden design and horticultural work.

Jeremy first visited us to understand our requirements. We went through a few design iterations before settling on a final design. Jeremy helped with the tendering process although the first two prices back were way over the original budget we had given him. We contacted a guy we had used in the past and finally arrived at a price for the same design only around 10-15% over what we had budgeted. Jeremy visited site several times during the works and answered questions providing further details where required. He also came up with a planting plan and schedule and ordered our plants for us from his supplier. Very comprehensive service apart from slight initial issue with getting the project in on budget. Would recommend Jeremy for his expertise and friendly, helpful nature.
